NoHo Hot Chicken

I'm so sad this place is "temporarily closed." It's been since before Covid that I've been able to find it. Don't try the phone number because it isn't correct. This was the best hot chicken I've eaten. Does anyone know where this delicious truck went?

These folks have a fun wait staff and great food - I’ve been coming here weekly since I moved to the neighborhood and it’s where I take guests for breakfast. They would normally get four stars for me because I love these kinds of restaurants, but they recently got rid of their card payments and are cash only, which is a load of horsesh*t. They don’t seem to have any plans to fix it. So if you carry cash have a good meal, but until they fix this I’ll eat where the owners aren’t too cheap to pay the stupid card fee and care about their customers time and convenience. No one has to give you money. Don’t make it harder. And shame on you for making your staff deal with this irritating situation

Its a good place to fill up but the service is inconsistent. i had to reduce from 5 stars. still unique and very worth trying if you get them on a good day. secret menu ribs are crazy good, definitely a step up from the chicken. the spraypaint truck and solo employee are the main thing holding this place back. its better than daves tho. sorry daves but youve never impressed me

Found this hidden gem within walking distance from our hotel. Great breakfast combos, I had pancakes, eggs, and bacon while my husband had a Western omelet with potatoes and sourdough toast. Staff was friendly, food was fresh and hot, great experience.

UPDATE: the food truck now moved in front of the Captain Hookah Lounge nearby, which allows for easier parking!- - -Delicious!!! I saw a review saying that the parking lot was empty, it’s because it’s actually a food truck that’s there Monday through Saturday from 1pm-9:30. I always get the Mac and cheese fries, which come with two tenders. The chicken has a sweet flavor to it (is it honey??), and you have the choice in the level of spice you want. The Coleslaw salad is good too, which is hard to come by. Very clean and great customer service. Highly recommend!

This is the best fried chicken I’ve tried. The owner is so friendly. My sister is in love with the Vineland Aioli sauce and the coleslaw is made with perfect dressing. This place deserves a prize!

Had to try a couple times to be sure, and yeah it seems like it is really good. It's pretty simple and tasty, with sweet sauce that drips onto the fries. Fries and coleslaw are solid as well. Something that many places get wrong.

Good food and great PRICES! Very generous amount of food too! Tenders are giant I always think I can handle 3, but I'm always wrong! Just wish he had better hours, he could make better money!

My wife and I visited twice during our stay in North Hollywood. We enjoyed a breakfast, and a lunch. For breakfast I had the Italian Omelet, with fried potatoes. It was delicious And a very large serving. And the flavor of the mushrooms really stood out for me. Our server for breakfast was amazing. When we visited on the last day of our visit, our server was as good as our previous one. We had 2 nice visits, and I would not hesitate to stop again.

I stopped here the first day in NoHo and it was perfect to get my day started. Breakfast was amazing and good portions. The service was simply amazing and the decor has you always looking around trying not to miss anything. Well worth the money and the food was awesome.

This place was absolute delite! Food was cooked well with a taste of spiciness. ?

The spice was powdery on the outside of the chicken and on top of the fries in very strong Cajun flavors. I liked the sauces provided and drizzled on top of the chicken which was juicy. Coleslaw had no flavor.
