The only place where you can eat for less than $10. Calzón is my favorite

I've been going to this (general) location for 40 years. 20 years ago it was a huge sprawling restaurant with the best antipasto and pizza in LA I don't care WHO said differently. Now it's moved across the alley into a little corner location but one thing hasn't changed...the PIZZA !! I always get mine well done because the crust is baked beforehand to speed up the process so if you ask for well done, the crust and cheese temperaturesatch and it's thoroughly nice and hot all the way through. Enjoy. Can't wait to get back to LA for another meal

Love the food. Unfortunately, the Pasadena Numero Uno closed. The waitress was busy and overwhelmed, and it showed. Still gave her a great 25% tip for her efforts. The inside is small, and they have a small patio area, but we don't mind.

Ordered a Alfredo pasta with chicken and I was highly disappointed. They barely gave me any pasta and I ordered a salad and they ended up not having lettuce. Great staff but I probably won't go back.

The pizza was delicious! My family and I were staying out of town in a nearby air BNB and saw this place and decided to give it a try for a pickup order. We were not disappointed! The food was fresh and tasted delicious. The mozzarella sticks breading was really good as well. If we are ever in the area again we will stop in to eat again. The girl at the front desk was also really nice, and very thorough with checking for the accuracy of our order. We had a very large order and she checked to make sure we had all of our food so we wouldn't be disappointed. Thanks again!

We are visiting from out of state, this is close to our Airbnb so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. We got pizza, pasta, and a salad and it was all very good. We did the thinner crust.
