I love this place and come every so often to order ponchiks. Never had a problem until I was overcharged for the 12 ponchiks. She charged my card $54 for 12 ponchiks and for a sec I was like that's not right and she ignored me and then I asked for a receipt because it should've been $34 and she printed it out for me. I was so confused as to how that happened but she didn't speak English and I don't speak Armenian so finally she goes like "I give you cash and you go ok?" I want a refund of the difference and of course I'll leave lol. Check your card statements because that's fraud and the attitude was uncalled for especially being a regular customer.

I ordered the ponchiks filled with Nutella and they made them fresh for me while I waited....oh, so worth the wait! They were warm and amazing! Wonderful bakery and incredibly nice staff!

So yummy I had Nutella one. Fresh made. You need to call 10 mins before pick up. Recommend this place. I will be coming back for sure!

Update: just tried the lamajoon (Armenian pizza), it tastes like the meat is old, so there goes another $20 for that in the garbage. I know it isn't tasting right bc I've had their lamajoon before and it didn't taste like this. Very disappointed. Will not be returning here. Bread boat eggs are supposed to be runny. That's literally the whole point. I just got home picking up and the yolks are overcooked, hard as a rock, and they charged extra for jalapeños/chives, but didn't make it as ordered. If this were the first time this happened, I wouldn't make such a fuss. BUT for a $20 bread boat to be a total fail, it's disappointing. Not happy and probably won't return here after being a loyal customer. There's better bread boat (ajarski khachapuri) all over noho, that are more deserving of business.

Just spent 45 mins waiting for FOUR ponchicks that I was told would be ready in 15 mins. No one informed me it would take longer until I asked. Not worth the wait & will absolutely will never recommend. Not the first time this has happened to me here.

I'm beyond annoyed. I asked how long it would take for the ponchiks and she said 10 minutes. It's been 27 minutes and here I am writing this review. I would've never ordered it if I knew it was going to take this long. She said 2 more minutes exactly 5 minutes ago. Lesson: Order ahead and don't listen to their wait times.

Ponchiks are good, I love papillon ponchiks. But Napoleon was soft and cream did not taste like napoleon cream at all, doesn't taste like fresh.
