There’s no place to pick up and oddly enough when you call them, the girl who picked up the phone said she had been told not to give out the address. Shady.

I'm seriously disappointed in this spot - nice reviews, non-existent service. I sent them a yelp message they never responded, I sent them an e-mail, they never responded, I went to their store, no signage and door locked. I called, first time I got an answering service directing me to the website, website couldn't recognize my account on their third party app, then I call back again, still not the store, just an outsourced answering service taking money from an independent business, who informs me business is permanently closed. What? Why pay for an answering service when you have no way of making money? Why have a website you can't order off of? Why can't you answer messages in a timely manner? Nobody can say I didn't try really hard to be a customer, but I give up :( SMH

Classic fried chicken that is a lot better than fast food! Perfectly cooked -- crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The price might be a bit higher but the cuts are huge and you get a generous amount of meat on the bones. The potato salad is awesome! This is located where the old Black Bottom restaurant was. Enjoyed their food then and still enjoying it now. No dine in yet but hoping to see them open it up soon -- I imagine it would even be better served straight from the fryer ?

7 days later and still no return phone call from management to assist with an order that was not up to edible standards. PKC has new management. It is no longer Black Bottom Southern Kitchen, which served an excellent cuisine. Some current reviews are really when BBSK was open, not PKC. I continue to have the crunchy baked beans and flavorless gray cole slaw in my refrigerator. The chicken is excellent. I just want my money returned for the sides orders. I spent $30. Perhaps, the side orders were just prepared incorrectly by the cook on that day. I am very disappointed in our small minority owned restaurant and if you are reading this, you would be too. I was patient and called back today after having waited 7 days, but only reach a live answering service person; no management. Crunchy (undone) flavorless baked beans and gray flavorless coke slaw is unacceptable.

The chicken in this place is actually quite good. I will try it again in a near future. They do not seem to sell chicken wings for some reason though. Their sides were actually quite tasty also.

Very pleasantly surprised. Good seasoned chicken with being to salty. Juicey and tender.

I would say.. HEALTHY FRIED CHICKEN. I got 2 pieces with coleslaw and beans. The beans could be hotter in temperature but the flavor is on point! This place is for TO-GO and DELIVERY!! Not a place to sit down and eat. There's a table outside if you were to sit and eat.

This place is easy to miss if you don't know where it is. The parking lot is pretty small but there are street parking. It is located in the corner of the street. * It is more of a kitchen for to go orders and delivery.* Their menu is online. Food: We got 2 pieces dark meat w/ coleslaw and beans. The chicken has a good amount of crispness and juicyness to it. I got a good crunch for almost every bite. Like a healthy fried chicken

Delicious! Really quality chicken and flavor is spot on. I do wish the hours were little more available but yum so crispy!

Crispy skin and juicy chicken. Bacon beans and coleslaw kickin. Not too much outdoor seating so mostly for takeaways

The worst chicken I ever ate. Not at all like the picture! It arrived black & burnt from Grubhub. How can you mess up beans? They even did that. Not at all worth the money & this place is not cheep...

This takeout and delivery restaurant serves good quality fried chicken made fresh to order. I especially enjoyed their sides of beans and coleslaw with the chicken. The flavor of the chicken is pretty good, although I wouldn't say it's the best. I would recommend trying them out though. They are a small business that makes decent fried chicken. They have a parking lot in the back which is nice considering the difficulty of finding parking in LA.
