We arrived at this spot for a meeting. we heard about this spot from a lot of people. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members were extremely nice and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was great. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

The Pita Stop is one of those places that you can't judge by its outside appearance or neighborhood. The food is delicious with generous portions. Right now, I'm "hooked" on the shwarma. The falafel is also very good. The assortment of Israeli-type salads are all tasty. I drive out of my way to eat at The Pita Stop, which is the only negative to this hidden kosher treasure!

The people were very rude. We had a gift certificate that clearly said it did not expire, but they refused to take it. The weekday hours are very strange and it is not open on the weekends. I would never recommend this place to anybody. Don't waist your time!

Imagine your living room. Add 4 tables and 3 stools. fill it with a combination of israelis, latino car mechanics and the occasional white or black guy. Fill tables with wonderfully fresh PILLOWY pita bread, shawarna, colorful salads, hummus and spicy pickles. Add chaos and smiles. I had a Shawarma Bowl with yellow rice with pine nuts. While it wasn't the chicken shawarma of Zankou fame, it was still tender and very tasty. And the rice was a knockout! I added to this some spicy pickled peppers and some green salsa-like stuff (someone help me out with the name here), and I was in heaven. I also had tabouli, Tabouli is made a variety of ways, and my favorite tends to have more parsley and less cracked wheat. This was opposite. Think of it as more of a starch than a salad. Even though it wasn't my favorite preparation, though, it was good. For those for whom it is important, the restaurant is glatt kosher. And there is way more Hebrew spoken in the place (customers and staff) than English. This is essentially a fast food place: you place an order at a window, pay, and your food is brought out to you. The place is so tiny that there's no room for a menu to be posted! So you will select your food off the brochure-style menu. The staff is uber-friendly, even as they can be very harried at lunchtime. I met the owner/cook after I finished my meal. He sat next to me and we chatted a bit. A friendly guy (pictured) who definitely cares about the quality and taste of his food. This was a really cool find. I'm looking forward to returning and eating my way through the menu!
