The poki is delicious. But it is wildly, frustrating that they are never open, Yet still except DoorDash orders And on Google, it says they are open.

Genuinely makes it impossible to go to other poke places. I just got a random chain poke bowl and it’s so disappointing, Poke Motto sets such a high bar!I always ask for recommendations on sauces and I’ve never been led astray. Fresh fish, good sized portions, great service.Time of day does matter, I usually go pretty late and I might get lucky with ‘end of day’ portions, but a small has always been plenty to fill me up.Parking in the area stinks, but a little walk is worth it for the personal experience and the major savings of take-out over delivery.Parking: Parking on nearby side streets if you’re willing to walk, or a paid garage nearby if you’re hanging around the area for a while.

twice now i’ve tried to come here and they’ve been closed when they are very much advertising to be open. i usually love this place so each time it’s really disappointing. i understand things come up, but if it happens twice in a row it feels like unexpectedly closing might be a common occurrence and that discourages me from trying to go again!

I'm putting 1 star not because of the food, the food is usually really good so I never have an issue with that. The 1 star is for their service with online ordering. I've tried ordering here about 8 times in the past 4 months and my order has been cancelled 6 of the 8 times. Nobody can give me a reason why.

Service was super nice and helpful.Got a medium priced at $15.75 and it's a pretty good portion. They've got a pretty good selection of bases like rice, greens, and even noodles. They have a lot of sauce selections that you can mix and match for your poke. Location is next to a busy street so you kinda gotta be patient trying to park.

Fish quality is ok. They completely forgot to give me the sauce I ordered on my takeout order, and I didn't realize it until I was home so I was stuck with a bland bowl of poke.

Awesome service, fresh fish, great choices to create your poke bowl. I will definitely be back! Parking is rough so I suggest parking down a block or so and just walk over... a couple extra steps never hurt anyway!

Order on door dash, portions were generous, but I wish there was more topping options. Normally you get fried toppings at poke joints but this place didn't have any. They had raw onions. I thought it was fried onions but it wasn't that ruined it for me. Other than that food was ok.Never mind I just checked they do have fried onions I over looked it

Let me start by saying I really love this place. Food: great. The employees have been super nice up to this point. I drive from DTLA to come to this spot whenever I can. The only thing I truly cannot stand is their false hours. It says on here they close 9:30pm. This is wrong. According to their door, it's actually 9:10pm. Unfortunately, you wouldn't know this unless you showed up at 9:13pm hoping to grab a last-minute bite and find the door already locked. Honestly, why not just say you close at 9pm? I really don't get why you need to say you're open when you're not. I've worked in the food industry before so I completely understand closing responsibilities take time.. But this is ridiculous. Overall, I'm not gonna be one of those people who's like, "You lost a customer." Merely a lost star for me. Also wanna add that their address on here is wrong. You're better off putting in the name on maps instead of clicking through Yelp.

Best poke in the area. I am a huge poke fan and have tried most of the spots in the area (from Woodland Hills to noho) and they are all disappointing. This place is good. Huge portions, good sauces, fair prices, fresh fish. That being said there is better poke but far away such as Pasadena. But in the valley this is my go to. Good amount of indoor seats and bland interior. Service is always good. Docking a star cause some servers put too much sauce and the to go boxes are too narrow so you have to dump the poke out into a bigger bowl at home.

I would expect ell inside a burrito to have more care to have the tiny bones removed. A single piece I pulled out of my burrito had 10-15 bones visibly long thin bones still attached. With all the other ingredients it was very hard to be aware at first. Even if some say it’s common it shouldn’t be hidden in a burrito.

I love the way they make their bowls. They have great sauce. I like how they don't rush when making your decision on your ideas. The prices are good for amount of food you get. But 1 thing, the containers need to be bigger for the large,,the container for the small shouldn't be the same for the large and your food is being forced in.

Service is great, super welcoming and friendly staff. Was a little bummed during my visit they were out of white rice and avocado. My bowl was still delicious with soba but not the best by far. I would come back and try some other menu options though! Overall a nice little spot.
