Raised out in the streets of SFV and 30 years out here, 5yrs in Mississippi and 1 in AZ and I still miss the food in California hands down. As close to Thailand that I enjoy to afford. Haha always fun tasty food.

Sanamluang is my go to Thai spot in North Hollywood. Its become a family tradition. They have great food and are very family friendly. The chicken sate, pad kapow, and Thai tea are excellent 👌🏾

If you grew up partying in or near the valley, especially in East Hollywood’s Thai Town, then you know Sanamluang. It was always super busy, and after a late night of drinks, Thai food was the perfect way to end the night. They used to stay open until 4 a.m. — back in the day. Fast forward 15 years and, especially after COVID, things have changed. The crowds have died down, and they now close at 9 p.m. When we visited during lunch, it was uncomfortably warm inside.
