We were in the area and my boyfriend brought me to this spot which he sometimes eats at during lunch break when he’s on a job in North Hollywood. Plenty of options and the prices were decent! I had a steak torta — had raw onions on it but it didn’t say that on the menu so important piece of info right there : ) the red salsas were really good and yes they have a clean restroom for paying customers. CA$H ONLY

I've eaten here a few times, and to be honest, it's not my to go to spot to eat Mexican food. They charge cash only, it's 2024 everyone is using apply pay now a days so it's a bit inconvenient for most people. It's always empty and the food is not really all that.

If you want a quick, cheap, no grills and delicious, street style taco fix on this side of the border in NoHo, Sandy's is your place. Buche, cabeza, tripas, al pastor, you name it, they probably have it. I usually get those three and it sets me back $15 for 7 tacos. They are not that big so depending on your appetite, you might need more. I usually eat that in 2 servings. Oh btw, "cash" only!
