Swinging Door BBQ

This meal went way above my expectations. I’m from an area of the country that has awesome barbecue and this would go over well in Texas, Kansas City, and Oklahoma. The burnt ends were moist and delicious as was the pulled pork. The coleslaw was well prepared and not too moist, the macaroni and cheese was also very good. The sides were a good size which made the cost of the meal worthwhile. I highly recommend this place for good traditional barbecue.

Update: I returned to try again, the brisket was excellent and the potato salad was good too!

Had Beef brisket sandwich & took the fatty option; um um good! Unexpected treat it came options of 1 side and chose the kale salad,: good Lord almost as good as the brisket! Also came with pickle, carrot & possibly pepper marinated salad. Just simple rustic outdoor seating, matched the vibe; nice sunny & airy!

Very nice hole-in-the-wall Texas-style BBQ. We ordered a beef combo with burnt ends, brisket, and pork sausage hot links, plus two sides, coleslaw and BBQ beans, and garlic bread.

The burnt ends were really good, tasty, moist, and had a great outer bark. The brisket was also excellent, and both had a nice, mild smoke flavor. The hot links were very tasty as well. The coleslaw and BBQ beans were solid sides and full of flavor.

The BBQ sauce on the side was just okay and didn’t add much to the meats. There was a slight off flavor that wasn’t my thing, but others there seemed to love it.

We also had a chicken sandwich, which was very tasty. The chicken was chopped into squares and served on a bun. The side we chose with it was macaroni and cheese. It was decent, but a little watery, I would’ve preferred it to be creamier.

Overall, a great place to get some really good Texas-style BBQ. The staff was friendly, nice, and helpful. Would definitely come back.

Mouthwatering, drooling over meats... ribs are fantastic, pulled pork is juicy and tender, brisket falls apart and melts in your mouth.... best BBQ in the Valley.
Scrumptious corn bread and delicious BBQ beans. We always order to go and service is top notch. Highly recommended 👌

The food is good and all, aside from being ridiculously expensive but expect a huge mess when you get the food to go. The workers don’t know how to pack the food in the plastic bag. They stack everything in one bag on top of the paper to go plates and by the time you get home everything is spilled everywhere. Hope they get the training they need so people don’t end up thinking if it was such a waste of money.

Smoked chicken was flavorful and great quality but unfortunately dry. Not tough, but dry. Small spot nowhere to sit, but the food was ready super quick. I for sure had better but at least the smoke flavor was there. Reasonably priced with big portions too while 95% of the competition is expensive as hell for nada. Definitely will try another meat next time.

This bbq is top notch, just like when i lived in the South! Staff was so friendly and helpful and my takeout order was FAST. The baby back ribs and burnt ends are excellent!

Food was great !! My three year old and 1 yr old loved it. Got the chicken breast (super moist), burnt ends and brisket. Mac n cheese, Cole slaw, collard greens were so good ! I do recommend getting fatty brisket over the lean cause the lean was a bit dry. Seating area is kind of small but there was enough room for a group of 7. You will get your food in to-go boxes and plates on the side (which I prefer. Made it easier to pack up and go ). Will definitely be back! super satisfied w everything !!

Great tasting bbq. I had a co worker party here and everything went off without a hitch. It was plenty of room to accommodate the party and the server got all our requests correct the first time. Great job
