I just drove by hoping to get some tacos, but it seems the store was closed with the lights off at 6pm on a tuesday.
Pretty sure this place is closed. Came by today around 1pm. Doors locked, baby seats on top of tables, not an employee in sight.

I went on Cinco de Mayo after work and when I walked in I recieved a hello welcome in nice to meet you . Thank you for coming in. Amazing service and amazing food. Served on a real plate not paper. Cooked to order fresh. THIS IS definitely the Best Tacos Mexico I have ever had. Thought they were all the same and I was mistaken. If you havnt tried it your missing out. Parking a little hard but Def worth it. Had everyone in there smiling and talking. To do that in LA you must be doing something right. 💯

Friendly environment with authentic flavor. Grateful for their taco Tuesday deals. We took them to the Dodger game and they kept perfectly. Thank you!

This is a legit hidden Mexican food place in the valley. The fish taco’s are their homemade recipe. The new owners rock!

After 14 years!! We're still OKAY. I was in the valley the other day and was feeling nostalgic for my broke Van Nuys days. Those early 20's where every day you wonder if everything is going to be OKAY day to day. This place was a place where you knew everything was gon̈na be OKAY. So I wanted to see if anything had changed and I was fine wirh the fact that this place was still OKAY.
This location is good. There is nothing wrong with the food, nothing wrong with the service except for the language barrier which I don't mind, to me the worse the english the better the flavor. Showed up on a Tuesday after a long day of running around for my business. This was a lucky day because it was taco TUESDAY, they also do taco THURSDAY $1.15 authentic tacos (seasoned meat, cilantro, onions on a double corn tortilla). I went for 2 carne asada tacos, and they were satisfying and perfectly GOOD, not great but good as always. I ALSO got a Carne Asada Burrito. The burrito was filling and had good flavor. While you wait you can fill up on your own lemons and bag up your own escabeche. I made this a car lap Linner (lunch/dinner). So at the end of the day everything was just OKAY, which is okay with me. - Justin

This place has been inconsistent for years now. With constant changes in management, new owners, and a lack of focus on quality and customer service, the experience has significantly declined. A few years ago, there were issues with staff not speaking English and showing little concern for quality or professionalism, which contributed to its downfall. The previous management, however, offered good prices, high-quality food, and a professional atmosphere that made dining here a pleasant experience.
Last night, I ordered a burrito, and it was cold on the inside—the cheese wasn’t even melted. The ground beef, not asada steak, was of low quality, yet they charged $15 for it, which doesn’t reflect the standard you would expect for that price. Overall, the quality was subpar. I won’t be returning for burritos until there's new management, better food quality, and a return to professionalism. This restaurant needs people who understand how to run a business and provide proper service to the public again. For now, I cannot recommend it!
Great place to eat

Cheap meat. Everything tasted like it came
out of a trash bag. I ordered a carne asada burrito and 3 carne asada tacos and I spit most of it out. Their rice also smells weird.. this place sucks! I could find better food in a trash can.
