The Brickyard Pub North Hollywood

Use cash at this place! I made the mistake of using credit card last two times and both times i was over charged on everything! Receipt shows one price credit card bill shows another. Proceed with caution!
Note: this review was for brickyard pub, i just read that its now Mr.Furleys so maybe they charge correctly now, cant confirm yet.

Tried to upcharge us. Charged us 2 hours of darts when we did one, didn’t give us the happy hour discount. Manager was rude when we approached him about it. Then fixed it. Ask for itemized receipt as they will try to upcharge.

Great place, the service was fantastic as was the chicken sandwich. My bill was reasonable considering my burbon selection and several beers I had.
The steel tip dart boards are in desperate need of an upgrade.

The older white security guard didnt let me take a picture at their bar, like really? He kicked me out, knowing they didnt close for another 15 minutes. Very disrespectful.

This place was much better when they had the old staff and it was Brickyard pub, not this new named ‘Mr furleys ’ and definitely not with the bogus useless rude security they had out front with new rules, this place isn’t the same vibe as the old don’t waste your time! 👎🏽go check out the real brickyard in Hollywood much better, and friendlier staff

I’ve been going here for years, it’s where I learned to shoot. Ownership laid off the entire staff overnight for “rebranding” with no warning. All that has changed is the name on the building. I miss the old staff, particularly Anthony or Antman as we used to call him. It was pretty underhanded for ownership to do their staff dirty like this especially when we, the customer base, had grown to love them. The staff deserved at least a two week notice. Cruel.

If you're here to play pool go to the back and request a table.

Only canned mixed drinks and beers, but it's a great spot to play a little pool.

Pretty great dive bar atmosphere, sort of place you feel comfortable bc you know what you’re going to get type of deal….would’ve given 5 stars, but they started charging for Shuffleboard and darts? The charge in itself feels a bit sacrilegious for a bar, but it wasn’t listed prominently if at all, nor mentioned when i started playing. So that’s definitely kind of lame and takes away a bit from the experience. I get being profitable, but come on guys.
