This restaurant never disappoints. I love coming here as its so close to where I live. Brunch is good. I had the Cali egg white scramble and it was very tasty.
We were babysitting our grandchildren and decided to brave it and go to The Front Yard. we were showing our table and immediately the sixth and three year-old We decided to brave it and go to The Front Yard with our three grandchildren. When we were shown to our table, the six year-old and the three-year-old were given an Etch-A-Sketch to keep them busy. Our server was patient and we got our food in a timely manner. The roasted olives are always so good. I got the sausage and pepperoni flatbread, which was hot and crispy. Unfortunately, we couldn't get dessert because there's only so long. You can keep a 6-year-old, a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old entertained. But everyone there made it bearable.
We have dined at Front Yard dozens of times over the years, often for special occasions. This was the 85th birthday dinner for my dad (who requested this restaurant), and it was great- in large part thanks to our wonderful server Davonna. She was so personable, helpful and attentive- and was so nice to my dad. Thx so much and we'll be back!
The receptionist is the best one you've ever had. Polite, prompt and tekes good care of customers.
Server was great and responsive. Food was yummy. Free parking (well, they validate for 90 min, I think, so it can end up being free). Easy location. I've gone many times and I will continue to patronize.
Love The Front Yard. It has the perfect ambiance for a business meeting or a romantic dinner with spouse. The team there is always so lovely and helpful and the food is just tasty - deviled eggs, need I say more. Can't recommend enough.
The atmosphere is lovely and the short rib was delicious. Our waiter, Austin, was fantastic!
I like the Front Yard, don't get me wrong, but every time I go the experience just seems a little bit "less" than before. This last time we had a late lunch - 2pm (unavoidable). They advertise lunch til 2:30, but we were told we had to order by 2:20, so everything seemed rushed. And - as if the kitchen staff were eager to leave - the dishes arrived early and the food was, let's say "uninspired." Not horrible, but just okay. Maybe a bad day for all concerned but we didn't get the experience I usually associate with this place. Maybe next time.
Hands down the worst service I have ever experienced. A full hour we sat at our table before I got up to ask the hosts why not a single person had been to our table, not even to bring water. They asked where I was seated and said they would send someone over with a very confused look on their faces. Another 10 min went by before someone came to the table. Finally got drinks and then food, never once were we checked on, drinks sat empty for 15 min. Tried flagging staff down with no response. Had to ask for our check 4 times. We got an apology from the server, we a, sorry I took care of your drinks (fountain sodas). Never once did a manager come to check in. Truly the worst dining experience in the valley! Don't go here if you want to enjoy a nice meal on the patio, it won't happen and you will just be frustrated.
I don't write a lot of reviews, but this is my go-to lunch spot in North Hollywood, and for good reason. I'm always treated exceptionally well here, and the food is always fantastic. I'm never worried about bringing anyone. Top-notch service.

Overrated! This place plays a clear scam (old food, small portion, higher price, etc.) with their food quality just because of its wonderful seating settings.

Three things to note: My meal was served 10 minutes before anyone else's, requiring me to wait for everyone else's food to be served while my egg got cold - not pleasant. Second, the noise level was too loud and required my guests to shout to be heard across the table. Third, when I reserved a table, I asked for a patio table outside. Upon arrival I noticed there was a long table in front of the fireplace outside but instead I was seated inside the covered area which I do not consider outside as requested. The service was fairly good, though we were not checked upon as often as I would've liked. However, other than my cold egg, everyone's food was delicious. But due to the three reasons above, I may not be returning anytime soon.
One of my favorite places truly enjoyed a wonderful brunch with my mother, excellent service provided by Emily very friendly, attentive, and made excellent recommendations.
We were staying at the hotel and could not stay away from this restaurant.
The food, happy hour and drinks were great, our truest hero was Frankie!!! He was the most welcoming, helpful and professional server ever. We loved coming back and having him on our section every night.
Thank you Frankie for making our vacation evenings extra special.

This restaurant is gorgeous. If I had to design one it'd look just like this. The food was excellent and service was impeccable.
