Haven't been back in a while, but had a reason to celebrate so went back for lunch. Still pretty good. Food and service is still good. Not as crowded anymore, but that seems to be true in general. Food delivery was a bit slow but not excessive. Food was tasty, but a little uninspired. I'd still go back the next time the situation arises.

I enjoy this place and we purposely chose the patio vs indoors for a lower noise level so that we could talk. I was surprised that the noise level outside still required us to strain to hear one another. The decor, ambiance and food are good. Just wish it were a little quieter.

My husband (Rod) and I truly enjoyed our service from Carlos, he was exceptional!! And Kyle, my friend was just as exceptional - thanks again for the complimentary champagne 🍾 As Carlos stated VIP and that is how we were treated! Please give our praises to the chef for an amazing meal! From the 12-minute cheese biscuits (My Fav!!), to The Chef's special and the “melt in your mouth” flat iron steak was just divine and one of the best meals of my life! Truly!! 😊

This is a hidden gem near Universal Studios. It is part of the Garland Hotel but this is not a hotel restaurant. This place has more of a neighborhood feel. Great relaxing ambiance, excellent service and good food.

Our server was amazing (5 stars) and full of energy. She didn't skip a beat while serving another large party nearby. She was gracious and very knowledgable about the menu, making great suggestions. We ordered the cauliflower appetizer, bolognese, short rib (on the bone) and charred ahi. All were perfectly cooked and delicious. We even stayed after for a drink at the bar and the bartenders set the night off with their great wit and personalities. A great night for a double date. We've already told some other friends about it. Thanks for a wonderful evening.
There was what appeared to be a kids birthday party in the patio where we were sitting. It was loud and rowdy. I know this isn't exactly the restaurant's fault, but I bring it up because if you're expecting to have a quiet romantic dinner, just be aware that this is also a type of restaurant that has a “family environment” possibility

I haven't been here for 10 to 15 years. The decor has changed but that wonderful relaxed feeling was there. The food was excellent. The Little gem salad was huge. Good thing my friend and I shared the salad. The chicken with the Mac and cheese was tasty. One last thing...that was the best Cadillac Margarita we have had in a long time. Mmm. We will return.
