Good decorations and vibe, interactive displays.
Receptionist has bad attitude. The ordering and pickup process is disorganized, there is little guidance and people in line are confused. Long waiting time for a table and for the food. Taste is below average and not worth the price.

Know before you go: wait time even when it isn’t busy is LONG. Took 20 min to order (with only two groups ahead of us…) 55 min after ordering to get served our child’s burger and garlic knots. Absolutely horrendous children’s burger. Came out cold, on a stale bun, and grey?? Not sure why it was grey but it wasn’t edible. If you feel like you’ve gotta see the inside, go in through the side door and just take a quick look inside. Don’t waste your time or money.

Skip. 1/5 stars.
Had a 1:45 reservation. Get to the entry and there was so many people the host started to let people through without checking reservations. The queue inside the door was so long that we didn't get to order until 2:17pm. We then had to wait to be seated at a table for another several minutes. At 2:40 our food was served, nearly one hour from our reservation time, unacceptable.
The food was blant, small portioned and very over priced. For two kids meals, one adult entree, a dessert and one lemonade it was nearly $80.
Hard pass. Save your stomach for a food cart on the street.

Food is flavorless and cold - never eating here again. Focus on quality and temperature to make it worth the expense and the wait.

I had the Yoshi mushroom Alfredo and it was better than I had expected. I mean it tasted like every other store bought fettuccine Alfredo but it was pretty good. I didn't eat the Yoshi egg and mushroom but the chicken and broccoli were soft and tasty. My only complaint was that some of the broccoli came out big so I had to cut it with a knife. A little pricey but it's expected. It was $16.99.

Presentation was very cute and I love the super Mario spin on it. It was very creative. The place itself was really nice. The atmosphere was immersive and clean. Really cool. I'd say it's worth going at least once. I went at 9am on a Sunday, there was barely anyone in the restaurant. No wait time.

If you want to make a reservation to wait in line to order and then non wait in line for a table this is the spot for you.

cute place and well done in terms of decorations, however food is extremely mediocre. We had a reservation at 2:45, got in right on time and had to wait 10 minutes a line to order, then another 10 minutes to be seated, and 40 minutes to actually get our food, just for it all to be bland and dry!

Nice waiter but the food was not good. Chicken salad had stale croutons and old tasting, unseasoned chicken, the Mario burger tasted like dry fast food, and the fries were cold. The garlic knots were dense and could injure someoneif thrown... not worth the time or money

It’s a very cute place, but the food definitely needs work. Everything besides the tiramisu tasted like a kid’s school lunch. It just seemed like microwaved food and our table was disappointed.

Food is less than decent.

Service technically none.

In terms of theme and for the kids, this is 100% the place. Two adults and two kids meal and 3 drinks, around $100 USD.

Immaculate theme with some fun dishes. I have to say that the dessert for this place is the real winner. The tiramisu cake and the chocolate layer block cake was so fun and quite delicious as well. I look forward to coming here more often as I travel to epic universe. While I dont think it is the best restaurant in epic universe, it is definitely one to try!

Dont bother. obnoxious and rude staff with overpriced dishes that taste like cardboard. They expect you to buy 10$ 'memorabilia' bowls while they give you wooden spoons as cutlery. Shameless staff and management.

Made a reservation for a Birthday knowing nothing about this place and what a mistake it was. The food was super mid. The atmosphere was cute but just OK at best.

Do not understand the point of Reservations when they make you wait in a 45 Minute line to order/be seated. This easily could've been another Quick Serve restaurant.

Again I cannot express enough how BAD the food was. We both got burgers and the garlic knots. The burgers were High School Cafeteria burgers at room temp and the Garlic Knots were COLD. There was no one to complain to because the servers actively run away from you.

As for the birthday being celebrated? We had to share the table with other diners ON A MONDAY and we got maybe 2 *oh happy birthday*'s. Lame...

Disney Definitely does better with food experiences over universal any day, but this is a glaring example. Absolutely gross food. We should've just gone to the Three Broomsticks instead.. unless you like REALLY bland food: Do Not Eat Here!!!!

The food quality is very far from perfect, especially the desserts. The tiramisu was the worst I’ve ever eaten — in name only. In reality, it tasted like a poor sponge cake without mascarpone, coffee, cognac, or any kind of syrup. Just a dry biscuit with whipped cream on top (likely made from low-quality powdered milk). I’d strongly recommend that the management visit any bakery in LA to taste what more or less real tiramisu should look like. What they’re serving here under the label ‘tiramisu’ is honestly unacceptable, even for 10$. The waiting time was over an hour past our reservation time, which was terrible. When the food finally arrived, it was only lukewarm — clearly it had been sitting somewhere for 10+ minutes after being cooked, which made the experience even worse.

Was expecting overpriced terrible food, however the food was great and reasonably priced for what it is (part of Universal Studios). Service was a bit slow but happy to sit down out of the sun for a bit. Really fun and quirky restaurant. Be sure to book well ahead.
