Had the pleasure of dining at Zahle last night. Food was perfect and service was incredible. We ordered the kibbeh nayyeh, fried kibbeh, a Lebanese salad, chicken and filet mignon skewers, lamb chops over rice and had their delicious ashta. Will be coming back for sure.

Good food made fresh and good service. They make it fresh for you and they fry things fresh. Falafel was great, Tabib was great, but was great hummus was great and water came from the bottle bottle. They open in front of you and not tapwater. The place was very clean. The parking was small so I'm wondering where people park Probably street parking at night. Restrooms were clean. Nice cute decoration outside. They have heat so people can sit outside. They always have a party and the singer, etc. My chicken pomegranate molasses dish was excellent. I ate it all till the last drop. I wanted to lick my dish but I was afraid I'll be arrested. Prices are within normal range and nothing scary. I'll definitely come back for the head of mutton in the future as well as for the raw meat tartar dish. Mr. Hicham was very friendly And explained the menu and a lot about Lebanon. Didn't even get to try the food as the service was so horrible! Some man, who appeared to be the owner or manager or something, stood in front of us as soon as we walked in, not even allowing the full 4 members of our party to step inside. He asked if we had reservations (the place was not even 20% full, as told him we did not, he said he could not accommodate us, I asked if there was an event or something and he said there wasn't. Not only did half of our party have to wait outside, but he kept taking steps toward us, forcing us to take steps backwards to exit the restaurant (while the patrons were smoking hookah and watching as food was being served and consumed, health code violation.) The attitude of this man was enough to ensure none of us will ever give this place a second chance. It honestly felt like us being not Lebanese had everything to do with us being turned away. Horrible service, terrible mood, would definitely not recommend.

I will recommend this restaurant any time. It's family oriented and you feel like you know everybody.They have life music on weekends and the food is amazing I had the best cocktail.
