I have been meaning to visit this play some 10 years ago... Maybe back then, it would been a great experience, however, the place looks a bit run down and needs a major renovation. However, the food was good and beer was cold... A really nice and relaxing atmosphere nonetheless.

We had driven through Nuevo a few times and seen this restaurant as we passed by… but today we decided to eat there after we attended church. Since we are not from the area, we do enjoy the drive and scenery there. The building you can tell it’s been there for a while, but yet very clean. We were greeted by the owner behind the counter and she was very nice and friendly. Since we had never been here we didn’t know what to order. We ended up ordering a carne asada wet burrito, and a combination plate with a cheese enchilada and a shredded beef taco, and it comes with beans and rice. The chips and salsa were Delicious and our entrees were definitely very authentic! It was mouth watering delicious🤤 I cannot wait to visit again and maybe next time go early enough to try their menudo and handmade tortillas. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican food, I definitely recommend this place!!

My husband and I moved to Nuevo almost 2 years ago now and have gone to El Comal almost weekly since moving here. The food is delicious and the people treat you like family. Its our comfort spot. By far the best camarones a la diabla ive ever had!

The first time ithe food was delicious, small plate but very tasty The second time, l disliked my plate, the birria was different this time bigger plate full of bones ldid complain I am still going back. Hopefully, the birria will be so good when l try it before

If you don't visit El Comal, you're missing out!! Best beef tacos we've ever had! I'm so glad I visited El Comal! We were so sad when the Menifee location was permanently closed. We found out today their OG location is still open only 15 min away! Best tacos we've ever had! We will be back often. It's family owned and they are the sweetest people.
