Unfortunately, this time we were not impressed with food. The brussel sprouts app was blah; brussels were mushy and tasted old or left over. We each had the special of the day and while good, would not get again. Wishing now that I had ordered the lamb chops, which have always been great.

I made dinner reservations here 6 days in advance for my wife's birthday. When we showed up we were escorted to a small table against the wall next to where the staff comes in and out presumably from the kitchen area. When I indicated that it was unacceptable I was told no other tables were available and given no other options. I immediately canceled my reservation and left with my wife. This is simply unacceptable and if I could give them zero stars I would. I am a regular Google reviewer and I've never given this little of a rating for a restaurant to my recollection. I was not a walk-in and it was obvious to me I was given the worst table in the entire restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant.

An exceptional dining experience here in Oakdale. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, who immediately led us to our table. Our server (Cheryl, I think that was her name) was kind and attentive and helped us choose the perfect meal for the evening. The seabass was buttery and delicious. Amazing wine list and menu! It was a special occasion for us, and our server helped make our evening perfect by lighting a candle to the decadent butter cake for dessert. It was difficult to choose a dessert, as they all sounded so delicious! I will need to go back to try them all! I highly recommend Bistro 120.

We stopped on our way up to Yosemite and back from Yosemite. A very modern bistro with great service, fresh salad, and juicy grilled items- we had grilled chicken and hamburger. I do recommend stopping here for an upgrade meal before heading towards Yosemite.

We entered this place with our service dog. At the front, a couple of very nice staff greeted us, and we let them know we had a service dog. The staff was very nice and friendly. They took us to a fairly spacious table since we came with a dog. Everything was great until a bald older guy came to our table and, without saying hi or anything, said, “Dogs in car.” Literally nothing else. I showed him the paperwork, and he tried to snatch it from my hand, which I reminded him he can’t take legally and can’t request the documents legally, but I was nice enough to show it to him.
I waited a couple more minutes, but I didn’t feel safe sitting there anymore after I saw how dissatisfied he was. Crazy world—what if he adds something to our food? We just left. FYI, many people in the restaurant (staff and customers) gave so many compliments to our service dog.
I'm pretty sure I ate canned clam chowder with a side of about 17 french fries. High class looking place but that's about it.

Nice Oakdale bistro. On the way to Groveland, CA we stopped in Bistro 120 for lunch and we were not disappointed. The bistro is well designed and has a nice modern vibe. The bistro has a good selection of items on the menu, and a nice bar. The service and food quality and taste were also top notch. French dip with fries, chicken BLT with salad, clam chowder were all tasty. Jocelyn was our 5 Star server too.

We really enjoy this place and come here often. The atmosphere is absolutely incredible and clearly where the majority of the investment went. That said, what would take this to a true five-star experience across the board is expanding the menu. The options are very limited, and the burger was dry. They also removed the grilled cheese and tomato soup special, which was honestly the main reason I kept coming in. I was genuinely disappointed to see it gone and I wasn’t alone. While I was dining yesterday, I heard two other guests ask about it as well. Management, the people have spoken. Bring it back.
Service can be slow at times, so if you’re in a hurry, I recommend sitting in the bar area. Overall, it is good food with an even better atmosphere. A broader menu would elevate this place from great to exceptional.
