What a cool joint!! We’re from East Texas and I never thought we’d run across a place like Huckleberry’s in the middle of California! It was like being down at the bayou in Louisiana! Perfect place to hit a brunch. Waitstaff and cooks rocked it! If you’re passing through Oakdale you gotta eat here. Top it off, Tombstone was playing on the hotel TV that night, iykyk.

Everytime I come in, the servers are upbeat, happy, and have the biggest friendliest smiles and attitudes. :) The good always comes out hot and tasty. Literally never had a bad experience here. Leah, Carmen, Robin, and Nadien always make it the most welcoming place for breakfast/lunch. I highly recommend stopping in here for someone great food and even better service. :) You can't find better people to eat with. 💜

My husband and I take our father out to breakfast every Thursday. Today we decided to try huckleberries in Oakdale because that is where we live.
Hostess sat us down. Waited 15 minutes and nobody ever came to our table to greet us or offer us a glass of water. Upon leaving, I told the hostess we were leaving because noone ever came to our table. The hostess and waitresses were all at the hostess station talking and laughing, (I guess they were not very busy) one of the waitresses apologized and said she did not know we were there. Does the waitress not check the other customers near us? So insulting. Very bad team work.
