What a cool joint!! We’re from East Texas and I never thought we’d run across a place like Huckleberry’s in the middle of California! It was like being down at the bayou in Louisiana! Perfect place to hit a brunch. Waitstaff and cooks rocked it! If you’re passing through Oakdale you gotta eat here. Top it off, Tombstone was playing on the hotel TV that night, iykyk.
Everytime I come in, the servers are upbeat, happy, and have the biggest friendliest smiles and attitudes. :) The good always comes out hot and tasty. Literally never had a bad experience here. Leah, Carmen, Robin, and Nadien always make it the most welcoming place for breakfast/lunch. I highly recommend stopping in here for someone great food and even better service. :) You can't find better people to eat with. 💜
3/30/25, my wife and I stopped in for breakfast. We would go there every time once or twice a month when my wife and I live in Modesto. It was our first time back since we moved out of state. Sorry no pictures 😕
