Everything was so delicious! We had the crab Rangoon, riverbank roll, and another roll. The hot tea was great. The service was amazing. Everyone was so sweet. We will definitely be back.
Makara Restaurant was a great experience. I ordered the jalapeño roll, which was delicious with just the right amount of spice. For an appetizer, I had the gyoza potstickers, and they were very good. The presentation was nice, and the service from the owner, Jason, was excellent. Highly recommend!
On our way back from Yosemite and we heard about this place (Mom and Pop Shop) in Escalon for their food. So we stopped and never regret it. We ordered their Beef Teriyaki over Rice, Miso Soup, the Makara Sushi & San Francisco Rolls. That was the best dinner ever. We ate the sushi in its natural state, without soy sauce or Wasabi, because it didn't need it. Beef Teriyaki was tender and the rice was perfect. Give this place a try, you won't regret it. So next time...
