A hometown favorite open for multiple generations. Hard working people making wonderful things from scratch. Bread, pies, cookies and rolls are all wonderful but cinnamon rolls are our personal fave and sugar cookies are widely known. Cash only. Be kind and patient if they are busy, it’s a small business.

Left without buying anything. The guy working was touching the food barehanded. I don’t know if he washed his hands first or not, but he could have grabbed the food using the tissue paper they have or tongs, gloves. He said they only take cash, so he’s been handling dirty money all day and then touching food. The guy was friendly but it grossed me out. Probably won’t be back.

First time here and wanted to possibly get tea or coffee, staff was very unwelcoming. I asked about the chai tea how the sugar level was, he was not knowledgeable said “just comes how it is” I wanted to walk out, but I don’t like doing that to businesses. Just grabbed cash out the atm, bought my tea. Would help if they would mention it’s cash or check only before ringing people up. All he said “we have a sign by the door” never coming back to this place. Horrible customer service and make people feel unwelcomed.

Freshly baked bread and love their cinnamon rolls.

They don’t take credit/debit. I asked for a slice of tomato and onion on my bagel and was told me they couldn’t do that, even though they’re a full sandwich shop. Then it takes ~20 minutes for a garlic bagel with plain cream cheese. Not a friendly employee atmosphere. Food was good, but not worth the wait and no costumer service.

Great old school bakery. The only thing I'd suggest is the bakery being open on Sundays. Or at least Mondays... it would be super nice to be able to buy the weeks bakery needs or walk down ( we live in historic part of town) on a Sunday morning. Suggestion is actually a compliment... we would love to be able to have more days available to enjoy such a cute bakery with amazing bread and goodies! Thank you for contributing to our small town... another reason to enjoy Oakdale life!

Kind Regards!

Tried it for the first time, had there blueberry cinnamon roll was delicious with many flavors and soft. They have day old pastries for sale very moist still.

Wheelchair accessibility: They need more wheelchair accessibility, there is a step down on cement. Hard for a person in a walker.

Moss Rose is a staple in this community. It makes you feel right at home. For those of you who don't know, they make an incredible hot pastrami sandwich. Just ask about their lunch menu, and you will be pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend it.
