I had the unfortunate misfortune of dining here, and it was a complete letdown. The food was simply horrible—bland and flavorless, lacking any of the vibrant tastes you'd expect from Mexican cuisine. While the portions are enormous, it’s hard to see anyone finishing it when the food is so unappetizing.
Save your money and skip this place!

Day 3 of Yosemite trip and dinner stop at El Cid was a great experience. Food was great and good options for kids too.
Portion sizes were good too.
Best part of the experience is the service. Waiter as well as other service staff were really good at their job and took care of us very well. Highly RECOMMEND.
Vegetarian options: Fajitas, enchiladas and quesadillas. Not bad.

Service was great but food was iffy. Enchiladas tasted like something you could get from frozen tv dinner nothing special there. Tacos are ok but all in all food was ok, wasn't impressed at all. Nice ambiance and good service, one of those kinda places you eat once and aren't in a hurry to go back to anytime soon !

This place was yummy and friendly. Really good TexMex. If you're staying up at Tenaya or in Fish Camp, I really recommend the 20 min drive down the mountain for some reasonably priced TexMex food. Especially after a day of long hiking!

Odd, I know I placed a review for this location years ago. Upon my last visit I found the food to be good, not quite as great as it had been. Though the location looks great, they have done a lot of work making it look great. Price is as you would expect. Restrooms are great! If you are hungry and want Mexican food, don't know that you will find better than here. Looking forward to next visit.

Cars were lined up out front for dinner. Turned out to be some sort of senior deal. An hour later they were all gone.
Food was very overpriced and not worth the premium charged. Virtually no entree was under $20. No kids menu that we could locate.
Wife ordered a soup she could not eat. Son ordered a quesadilla he did not like. Split chicken fajitas with my daughter - was ok at best.
Drive ln and find something better.

Cozy spot right off the road in the mountains 20 minutes outside Yosemite National Park. Tasty food and great service. Rice tastes just like Abuela's, and Mexican beers are just $6. Will definitely be back!

Don't order garlic shrimp was dry like eating rubber
It was good food to grab in a flash. Little pricey, but to be expected up in the mountains and near tourist attractions.
