Great experience all around. Very pet friendly. The best meal we've had in the Yosemite area.

Not sure why this place has such a high rating. The food was average at best. This town clearly lacks options

The Queen's Inn is always fun on summer Saturdays. Great music. Great staff. Great food. Great friends, both old and new.

Wonderful dinner with the family in an unexpected jem. The Owner who makes the food all in house was wonderful and very accommodating, making if menu items for 2 children we brought along. Despite her making other dishes for them they wanted to taste ours and ended up eatingvthat as well.

Definitely don't miss out on the desert its made in house and so yummy. Also of course have the wine which was surprisingly far better than expected. We will be back when in the area.

Strange experience, website allows for booking wine reservations until 5 pm, but the staff close wine tastings at 4pm. This is not communicated to customers, so we had to abandon our 4pm reservation. Additionally the parking lot is confusing along with confusing signage for the entrance, making it easy to miss. I would give this place a second chance, but I feel burned on taking time out of my day to come here only to be turned away by staff.

Delicious food. Beautiful atmosphere. Wine tasting with local area wines.

Our daughter brought us in celebration of my birthday. Everything was excellent, the food, the service, and atmosphere. While there, the power went out, but everyone took it in stride.
Definitely worth going back

We visited the restaurant for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. He ordered the ribeye, while I had the pasta with added shrimp. Unfortunately, the $40 ribeye was quite bland and lacked flavor, and the pasta was similarly underwhelming. The shrimp, however, were well-prepared with a pleasant garlic taste, though it felt like the sauce was missing something, perhaps the pasta itself wasn’t properly integrated.

Overall, it was a very expensive meal that didn’t live up to expectations. I was also under the impression that the restaurant offered riverside dining or a cozy atmosphere, but we were seated in what felt more like a backyard setting.

On a positive note, the service was good. Our server was clearly busy but still attentive and managed to take care of all the tables effectively.

Absolute must stop in for anyone passing through or staying in the area(s). Food was fresh and delicious, the staff were super friendly, and the ambiance was cute and welcoming. Probably the best food we've had (yet) while visiting.

Friendly, but slow service. The dinner food was horrible. Bland, over priced, and the portions were all over the place with some dishes massive (angel hair pasta and the chocolate torte) and the other moderate (salmon and broccolini and the burrata starter). They stopped serving wine flights at 5:00, so even the wine wasn’t a draw for dinner. Thankfully we paid using a gift card and not our own money. Sorry, but I’m not sure how this place has 4.8 stars. Maybe other meals are better.

We ate at Idle Hour for dinner and we absolutely loved it! Being from the UK we love our Mediterranean tapas-style food and this hit the spot. We had the chorizo, pork belly and carbonara sharing style and it was all delicious. A welcome change from other types of restaurant in the area

Took the wife and in-laws for a little wine tasting, and we were not disappointed. I would consider us as fairly ignorant of most wine pairings and flavors, but the small treats and "wine flight" were perfect for us. Glass prices were modest, and the staff was very polite.
If you go as a small group, you should be fine with a walkin. If you want to bring a group larger than 6-8, make sure to give them a call and accommodate. You'll enjoy the experience more.
