Food was ok, we wanted something to eat other than burgers, hotdogs etc.
Not sure if the food is fresh, I did not risk the sushi. We had Ramen which was a lacking in flavour. Some had beef and a bit of chicken it was not great.

Absolutely delicious food. I was craving some Japanese food and found this restaurant. I got the beef teriyaki plate with some Asahi beer. It's one of my all time favorites and they got it just right! The food came fast and the staff were really nice.

Food was old. Albertsons has better sushi waitresses were rude. Panda express is more authentic than this place. Would not recommend.

We were really excited to try this spot, especially since it’s a family-owned restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The restaurant felt unclean, and we noticed some serious hygiene concerns.

The food itself didn’t meet expectations, and overall it felt like cleanliness and food safety weren’t a priority, which made us uncomfortable, especially with kids.

I understand this may be a small operation with challenges, and I respect the effort that goes into running a business. Still, for the sake of future diners—especially families—I think it’s important to share our experience honestly.

Very charming and authentic, we received our order in a timely manner and the staff is super friendly and sweet! In terms of quality of fish it’s the best you can get for about 50 miles around! Tasted clean and fresh with no fishy smell and the quality and care they put into their dishes makes a huge difference. Will absolutely be going by more often :)

I just ordered about $80 worth of food here, when asked about a minor issue they were FAST and SO KIND AND GENEROUS in their response.

What a surprise to have a good Japanese restaurant in Oakhurst! The Yoesmite roll was delicious.
