This cafe is very clean and friendly. The service was fantastic. The portions are generous. All entrees come with sides. Our salads were fresh and crispy! My partner loved his burger. The onion rings were crispy perfection. I was over the moon happy with liver and onions. Almost no one makes it anymore. It tasted like my grandma's supper. My baked potato was fluffy, and the steamed vegetables were cooked just right! This is what American dining should be: fresh, flavorful, and uncomplicated.

The staff was kind and helpful. Very welcoming atmosphere. We were even provided samples of their menudo and pozole before we decided on which on we wanted. Our steak, baked potato, and veggies were great tasting. My son had the burger, and it was delicious. I would highly recommend this place for their food and the way they make you feel welcome and well taken care of.

Nice drive from Fresno to Oakhurst. Nice place to eat. We ate on the patio which is very spacious. Our server Mari was very friendly & efficient. Food was very good, prices reasonable.

We ate a late lunch here today and had a delicious meal. Our waiter Chris was very attentive and professional. I ordered the fish and chips and was so impressed with amount of food and the freshness and flakiness of the fish and the delicious fries and Cole slaw. My wife had the tri tip dinner and she loved it. The portion was large and she could only finish about half and look forward to finishing it tonight. We were very pleased with Mountain Oaks Cafe and I have no reservation in giving it a 5 star rating.

Stopped for breakfast before beginning our day in Yosemite and omg!! Their breakfast was phenomenal!! My husband got their waffle special and I got their garden omelette with pancakes. Super fresh, pancakes were fluffy and waffle was crispy and chewy! Definitely a must visit here

WOW! Amazing service and SO MUCH food!! It was all truly delicious. The Chile Verde Omelet was incredible. The omelet meals came with a giant omelet, potatoes of choice, AND 2 fluffy and delicious pancakes (you could get a different carb if you wanted but these were too good!!) I love the variety you got with just one meal. Definitely a must visit!
