Used to love this place. My visit today however was by far the worst experience I’ve had with an establishment in my local town. It began as soon as I pulled in the parking lot. I was pulling my fishing boat and went to the back, turned around and pulled up next to the building in a position that was as out of the way as I could be. As my wife, young daughter and I were exiting the truck a young ladies came running out of the store and in an extremely condescending voice greeted us with a “you can’t park there.” She explained that I was blocking traffic, just as another truck easily backed out and exited the parking lot as we weee talking. She told me that I could park in back, I explained that there was not enough room and I would be blocking people there, then she proceeded to tell me several more times that I can’t park here. I asked if I could park on the exit along the highway and she said whatever you can’t park here. Ok, got it. Went inside to get my girls ice cream and tried give her some advice that a kind greeting would have gone a long way in that situation instead of just a crass command. In the customer service industry it’s never what you say, but it is always how you say it. I understand this business went through an ownership change last year, it may consider going through another one pretty soon.

I love coming here! It is a must stop when I come to Bass Lake. They have the best homemade ice cream and treats. The restroom is always clean, the inside of the shop is always neatly decorated and it smells like heaven inside. I would have loved to give this establishment 5 stars but the older lady behind the counter was not very friendly when she served my friends and I ice cream. I wish I would have gotten the other young lady's name as she was very friendly and helpful!

Their overpriced banana ice cream didn't even have real banana in it, it just tasted so synthetic. I've had better ice cream from the dollar store. 3 scoops cost us $15.

Sweet little candy/ice cream shop. We like to stop by after eating Mexican food next door. Once in a while we get a pint to take home - expensive, but worth it!

We were passing through as tourists and needed to buy some souvenirs of Yosemite National Park. Reimer’s Trading Post had some rave reviews so we stopped there. The reviews were not wrong- we were very well served by Ahmed and he was generous with his time. We got our merchandise and made a new friend- thank you!
