Food was average but pretty expensive. They added mandatory gratuity of 28% to the bill without asking us. Please remember that tipping is optional.

I went there with my wife. The food was stale we complained them and ask for refund but he said don’t do that. Then ask them to use fresh ingredients. Worst place don’t gooo
This place was a complete disaster. The food was awful, and the service was even worse. The Tandoori chicken was raw, which is unforgivable. The butter chicken tasted like garbage, and when we complained, the staff had the audacity to claim that’s just how they make it. As if anyone would willingly serve such disgusting food. On top of that, the staff were incredibly rude and accused us of "manipulating the bill." What a joke! We’re from India, and we’ve eaten Indian food all over the US, and this was by far the most inauthentic, tasteless garbage we’ve ever had. If you’re still skeptical about our review, go ahead and scroll through all the other 1-star reviews—the responses from the restaurant alone will make you realize how shady this place is. Looks like they have enough fake accounts to post multiple positive comments after every negative comment and manage to get a 4+ rating. Avoid this place at all costs.

This is unauthentic Indian food. Please don’t call yourselves “Authentic” food—if you don’t know how to cook.
There is a subway right across the lot, it has better taste

Pathetic food quality and terrible service! We ordered chicken tikka for starter, butter chicken masala, biriyani and tandoori chicken for main course. Chicken tikka was good, biriyani was ok. Butter chicken masala was basically chicken cooked in tomato paste (too too tangy - basically inedible). If you plan on complaining, don’t bother because it’s their “house recipe” and can’t do anything about it. Tandoori chicken had 6 pieces - two pieces were undercooked. If you plan on complaining, don’t bother because 4 out of the 6 pieces were ok, so they won’t be able to void it in the bill. Very very bad attitude by the staff and pathetic food quality.

The Manager should fire the receptionist. He was so rude . We asked for a table of 4 , by seeing us he straight away told that there are no tables available. We asked for wait time he told he doesn’t know. We asked if there is takeaway , he mentioned to order online. Why to hire lazy people? I would recommend not to visit this restaurant.

Nice, little spot found in the small town of Oakhurst. Good service, they provided recommendations regarding the food as well as the go-to places nearby. Food was decent and definitely a savior as we weren’t expecting Indian much around the valley.

Updating the review form 5 star to 2 after Feb 2025 visit.
We'd visited in 2023, and really enjoyed the food!
We were excited to visit again, but check-in host seemed pretty rude in their tone, totally killed our enthusiasm. (Which seems to be the theme of recent reviews)
The food quality has also gone down from our previous visit.

This place is a complete scam and should be shut down immediately. The food was disgusting—raw Tandoori chicken and butter chicken in tomato puree. When we complained, the staff had the nerve to say that’s “how they make it,” as if we’re clueless. They even accused us of trying to manipulate the bill. Seriously? We’ve eaten Indian food everywhere, and this was the most tasteless garbage ever. Instead of fixing their mess, they fake reviews and insult paying customers. Who’s trying to scam $20 on a $100 bill? Pathetic. Read the other one-star reviews and run far away from this dump! Stop posting fake positive reviews every time you get a negative review.

The taste of the food was quite good, but the lamb wasn't that good and the rice wasn't overwhelming for "normal" rice either.

I can’t even give a food review because after waiting for a while to even be acknowledged by a host I was told they were short handed and wasn’t sure if I could be served and then proceeded to not look away and not do anything. I looked in the dining area and pretty much all the tables were open. This was a Friday at 5:30pm. Then I was ignored by the host until I finally just left. I have never given a public review until now but this was by far the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I’ll never go back.
The food, the smells, the seasoning, the spices was so good.

Walked in and walked straight back out. Tables filthy, with used napkins laying on the tables. The welcome wasn’t a welcome either.

We ordered a lot of things from this place but didn’t really like anything.
The tandoori fish that we ordered was very bad. The paneer makhani was below average. The lamb rogan gosh curry was also not good. The only good curry were the mix veg korma. So we ended up ordering chicken korma as well. The naans were very good. Spring rolls were also good. The chai was also average. But the staff was friendly. So service was very good.
