I would go out of my way to visit again! She really knows not only wine but how to find small batch wine that you will love. Special experience and very unique wine. Bring your dog, also great treats for them.

This is an absolute must if you’re stopping near Yosemite. Colette was INCREDIBLE! We spent 4+ hours here unexpectedly.
Her wine bar is quaint, with a larger event space in the back that has local featured artists and various events like karaoke nights. We just stayed at the wine bar itself with no issues.
She’s incredibly knowledgeable about wines, and made me think deeper about what kind of wine I actually like. She focused more on flavors and aromas rather than just red v white. We got to taste 5 wines total and she offered us full glasses of whichever one we like best.
She unfortunately doesn’t serve food right now, beyond the typical cracker and cheese. I would recommend getting or bringing a snack before you come.
No need to book reservations, just stop in and be surprised. You have to add this to your Yosemite trip list!

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience here, chatting with the owner and petting Jax the shepherd dog during a wine tasting. We are not aficionados by any means and typically only enjoy sweet wines. Not a problem! And no judgment! Each of the wines (and mead!) that the owner chose for us was a hit. Her husband was lovely, too, and gave us great advice for the rest of our trip!

This place is amazing, Colette is a wonderful person who instantly brightens your day. She has a drink for everyone, even the pickiest people. If you’re in Oakhurst you have to go to Yosemite Wine Tails for a good time. (Also don’t bring your kids this is a bar)
