My daughter and husband and kids dropped by about a year ago. It was the worst service ever. Waitress besides delivering food did NOTHING else. When it came to pay they were ignored.. Finally paid, waitress came outside and said to parents, you didn't leave a tip.....My daughter responded, the service was horrible, didn't get drinks or even some food, so NO YOU dont deserve a tip. While the waitress still hanging out at the side of their car, said you have cute kids....parents at this point combusted! After a few words, the waitress said. I'll add my tip to your receipt....SO IM GLAD AT THIS POINT THEY ARE CLOSED!

This is not open and possibly closed indefinitely. We called the number listed to make sure they were open since it's in the middle of nowhere. The business that answered said they were the cafe yet weren't. Had to back track to the Olancha Resort Cafe. They said business for them has boomed and the son that took over Ranch House was not paying rent which is why it's closed. Olancha Resort Cafe menu was simple yet food good.

My family and I have been driving from Southern California to Mammoth / June Lake for 30 years and would always stop for lunch in Olancha. Now we find that the Ranch House is not open for lunch. So sad.

Stopped here on the way back from Mammoth on June 23, 2019. Sign on the door says they're under new management and undergoing major renovations and will re-open mid-July. We were disappointed as we were looking forward to another great meal at one of our favorite places to eat on the way to/from Mammoth.

I had the caldo verde and my wife had the sopo de perda, both were great. We shared a feijoada and we were both stuffed, and it was delicious. We'll be back.

Stopped here on the way to Mammoth and we are happy we did. I felt they went out of their way to make our eating experience enjoyable and even gave us water with bowls for our Dogs while we ate outside. I chose the Open Face Hot Turkey Sandwich, that was delicious!! My girlfriend ordered the Orlancha fried bread and was more than satisfied. We will definitely take a ride up here on our Motorcycle for lunch sometime.

Always wanted to stop here but never did. Tried it out this morning for breakfast and now it will be one of my stops everytime I pass through. It's got a sweet home feeling. When you walk I you feel as if the staff have brought you in and sat you down at there table to eat. Couldn't be a friendlier group of people. Breakfast was delicious. Menu is what you would expect from a standard American cafe, but you can tell they care about the food they make. Definitely worth stopping in for breakfast.

Absolutely the worst meal of my life. Would not take the leftovers, or I should I say the meal to my dog. There is better looking gravy in dog food. Wanted to stop for years, sorry I did. Hot roast beef sandwich was inedible. There were so many lumps in the gravy I thought, no it cant be. The smear of gravy on each piece of dried out, chewy "beef" U took a bite of the meat and i couldn't chew it, had to spit it out. I'm not kidding. I could not believe they served it to me. I could hardly wait to get out of there. Oh, did I mention the flies? ...... don't get me started. Sorry, but it was an awful experience.
