Los Chilangos reminds me of a casino — you’re gambling every time you walk in. Most visits feel like a roll of the dice, and the odds aren’t exactly in your favor. You might get lucky once in a while and end up with a decent meal, but more often than not, you’re left wondering why you took the chance. Consistency is sorely lacking, and good food here feels more like a rare jackpot than the standard. They can’t even give you a good clean Burrito Birria meat with no Bay Leaves. Customer service is a give and take.

I love to order from mexican restaurants and I have to say this is my top favorite in Olivehurst. I have ordered the mega burrito with no lettuce, a tostada, and most recently nachos and all were very delicious. If you are ever in Olivehurst I recommend Los Chilangos. If you order on Doordash you will find them as Area530 Mexi-grub.

Delicious food and excellent service! We stopped by here and ordered a couple of items and were able to take plenty home. You get a lot of bang for your buck. However, one of the downsides is the atmosphere. There isn’t much ambiance and during our time there was large amounts of smoke being blown in our direction. So outdoor seating wasn’t the best options.

As far as we are concerned Los Chilangos will be the ONLY Mexican restaurant we will be going to because all the other Mexican restaurants in this area suck! The only other Mexican restaurant worth going to in the Yuba/Sutter area closed after many years of service and since then we have wasted so much time and money looking for something similar and we have finally found it in Los Chilangos! The wet burrito looks better than the pictures and my husband loved it, it was huge, the sauces were very tasty, and the presentation was beautiful. I had the Camarones Rancheros and they were delicious and a very healthy portion, I could only eat half and had the other half for lunch the next day. The salsa and pico de gallo were right on-time with flavor, texture and heat, and the chips are nice and crispy but not so hard to crack a tooth! I really like the laid back atmosphere and the ladies are just as sweet as can be, answering all my questions, got my order right the first time, and they were pleasant to talk to during my visit. Do yourself a favor and take a drive to Los Chilangos next time you want some Mexican food, you won't regret it!
