The only Bartender last night ( dark hair) gal had aggressive irrational behavior. If you want your business to be a place for people to have fun and enjoy themselves Replace her and we will be back. Not someone you want to represent your business.

What can I say—I love this place. We’ve brought many of our friends here and always enjoyed it. This time, I made the mistake of inviting my mom to split a sandwich.

We ordered the tri-tip steak sandwich, but unfortunately, it was so tough we couldn’t even chew it. I politely explained this, and I never send food back, but I had to this time.Bartender was nice offered us something different to eat. We went for the hamburger.

What surprised me most was the cook, Lori, who seemed determined to “put me in my place” instead of handling the situation with care. Took a very long time to get our order. We finally had to ask again for it to go. Lori left me with my very first bad experience here. Disappointing, especially at a place I’ve loved and recommended so often.

I feed the hamburger to our dog. 😔

The servers are the best! Got to meet the cook and tell her that her Shriner Fries were so good I wanted to lick the dish! The owner was amazing, definitely enjoyed talking to him! If you haven't been to Moonshiners Saloon then you are missing out! Can't wait to go back!

Rhianna makes the best drinks and the chef makes the perfect fried pickles, not too salty or over breaded because you get entire pickle spears, not chips! Definitely get a whiskey sour, its soooooo good you won't have just one!

I was in town reconnecting with my brother after 20 years. We love to have a game of pool and a beer. So he took me to this place incredibly awesome place. You guys very friendly people ordered some small kinds. Snack food was excellent and the voodoo draft beer. You gotta try it. That stuff was incredible. Made my reunion with my brother all that much more special. Hopefully, you guys at moon. Moonshiners, see this, thank you for making a reunion for me. And my brother, a place and a time to remember. Thank you again. You guys

Great place for line dancing, karaoke, and live bands. Also the atmosphere is fantastic as well.

I mean for the location this place is epic. The food was great and could've used another bartender but im thinking maybe they didn't expect as many people to be there due to the construction zone in the street

I love the bar the environment is great... And the service is great when Kt is bartending and after when the bartender Dakota is bartending your in for a long wait if she's even behind the bar... Definitely would love to see more Kt

One star – A toxic and unsafe environment

I had a disturbing experience at this bar that I feel others should be aware of. What started as a casual evening turned into an unsafe situation due to the unprofessional behavior of the bartender and her entourage.

Apparently, the bartender’s boyfriend — who, as I later learned, is freshly out of prison — spends most of his time sitting at the bar chatting with patrons. He struck up a conversation with me, which I assumed was innocent and mutual. However, instead of handling any discomfort like a professional or mature adult, the bartender became visibly upset and chose to address her personal insecurities by having one of her aggressive, erratic friends confront me.

Things escalated quickly. I was asked to leave without cause, and outside, I was physically assaulted by this same friend — someone clearly unstable and not associated with the bar in any official capacity. At no point did staff attempt to de-escalate the situation or ensure anyone’s safety.

This place feels more like a personal drama zone than a business, and it’s dangerous when personal jealousy and poor boundaries spill over into how customers are treated. If you’re a woman, especially one who draws attention, I’d advise you to steer clear. They don’t use diplomacy — they use intimidation.

Not sure if hole in the wall is appropriate. Nice bar kind of experience. Live band playing. They could have done better with sound check but it was entertaining. Food was ok. Again, bar experience. Would repeat of in the area again.

Absolutely disgusting. Their food is hit or miss with the cook, and not surprising, the cook I had today served me undercook meat sausages that were still raw, TWICE! I should have took a picture. DISGUSTING! I've loyally been eating and drinking at Moonshiners for years. Bring back Jason. How fast it's gone downhill is amazing! What use to be good grub and drinks has become an Olivehurst nightmare.

We came at 7:30 on a Friday brought my friend first time want to drink and sing Dakota bar tender drinks and vapes can’t serve us kg can’t let me sing was here 2.5 hours 6 customers can’t get a song in with Craig working say something to him gets in my face in front of cook as i was telling cook experience don’t need ppl in face don’t go here
