I recently visited AJ's Bakery & Donuts and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When I inquired about the pricing, I learned that the bakery does not display prices, which felt quite unprofessional. It seemed like the employee charged whatever she felt like without clear communication.
To make matters worse, I was met with a dismissive attitude when I raised my concerns. I believe transparency in pricing and good customer service are essential, and I didn't feel that was upheld during my visit. I hope they can improve on these aspects in the future.

Best nino envuelto (the strawberry role with coconut) I have ever had! And the tres leches cake is BOMB. Ladies working the bakery are very nice.

If this wasn't the only shop in a 10 miles radius that sold "doughnuts", then I wouldn't be here. The variety here is horrible and randomness of their hours of operation is even worse. The ONLY thing they have going for them, is they are the only ones in town.

I don't understand how this place stays open on business, anytime I go they are closed, even when Google says it's open now. I went Monday 6.15 am closed, Tuesday 6 am they're closed Sunday 7 am they're closed just a waiste of time and efforts giving up on them. I can't believe there is no other panaderia in such a great town like ORANGE COVE.
