Cabañas Restaurant & Pupusería

Food was amazing. Portions were perfect. Will be back often.

We came to this place from out of town, we wanted to have a sit down meal. When we arrived they were cooking outside the restaurant we were confused and asked if it was open they told us we could sit inside yet all the lights were off. I turned the lights on myself and the person outside said they’d take our order. Finally someone came took our order and nothing from the menu was available only whatever they were making outside. We ordered our food and the server left and never came back. I went outside to check on our order after 40 mins and the person cooking said that they were really busy and had many other customers waiting before us yet everyone waiting outside were people that weren’t there when we got there and they were already getting their food. We had already waited about 40 mins and they told us we needed to wait another 15 so they could finish with the people waiting outside. The place was dirty, the vibe was just weird. We paid for the sodas we had already finished and decided to leave as it was very late already and we had a couple of kids that were hungry. When we left the person making the pupusas outside laughed as we walked passed her! Absolutely disgusting. Don’t recommend, find yourself another place to go.

Stopped in while waiting to deliver a load and got a shrimp burrito. Hands down one of the best burritos I have ever had!

Amazing food, prompt and friendly service. It was essentially a food truck with a room open for eating - but so worth the trip!

Without a doubt, this place has the best pupusas in the Central Valley. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere to come enjoy them

Might’ve came on a weird day or time but when my family got there, they were only serving tacos and pupusas and only 2 people were working and we were the only people there. However, the food was great. We had never had pupusas before and we all really liked them. The tacos were also very tasty, and the sauces that were served with them were great too. All in all the food is as authentic as it gets, was served fresh, and tasted great. It might not look like much on the outside but you’ll miss out if you pass it up

IT DOESN'T DESERVE EVEN ONE STAR, A GREAT PLACE, however I will post it so that my comment can be published.Upon entering the menu shows high prices but within reason, so we decided to try the food we ordered and it took too long to bring the food even though it was only us in the place (3) we were patient, the food was not good but what My annoyance and disagreement is that when paying for each dish and meal they raised it from 5 to 7 dollars of the price they gave us on the menu, the lady justified that action with which they had already mentioned it to the owner before and he did not take any action in it. This issue is an abuse, in addition to the fact that the delay is too long and the attention is not good, I definitely do not recommend it, they should take action on the matter to prevent them from continuing to abuse people.

Don’t judge this book by its cover! Great pupusas.I really enjoyed my calabaza con queso pupusa - the dough was fresh and crispy on the outside, and there was just the right amount of cheese. Prices were pretty darn good. Multiple vegetarian options. If you’re just looking for a good pupusa and don’t require atmosphere to go with it, you’ll have no complaints!
