Growing up in the 1980s in Orangevale our family had Wa-Me Chinese take out regularly and it was good Chinese food. I moved away from the area and had not been to Wa-Me in over 20 years. The online reviews I read mentioned great food made by the same family for decades. So I placed a take out order. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed a sign by the cash register stating no refunds which I thought was strange. But once I got my food I understood exactly how this sign came to be because every dish we ordered was nasty and all I wanted was a refund. Nothing about my recent experience reminded me of all the great experiences growing up on Wa-Me Chinese food. Thankfully there's way better Chinese food in Orangevale from a newer restaurant on Greenback near the United States post office.

I just came in there with my friend and the waitress was really rude to my friend and i and i tried to tell her at the end you don't have to be so rude to us and she said "you don't like it you don't have to come back" very bad customer service!!
