Best NY in LA. Try the house special and the Bianca. My personal favorite. Great food, great hospitality and a good location. Honestly I want to keep this place a secret but they deserve the positive attention!!

As a refugee of New York living on the West Coast, the perfect slice is hard to come by. This place has been the closest I’ve had so far in SoCal, and they’re either best or tied for first in the state with a place in Oakland. Repeated research will be necessary.

A quick update - Estate Coffee is under new management and is now named Flour because they have added Pizza ovens and thin crust pizza's. They still have the coffee and pastries that people have enjoyed for years but it is a different baker and as of now not quite as good. I asked and they said they would be baking their own shortly. It is a very new operation. I have tried the pizza twice and it is indeed a very thin crust which I like but it was a bit saltier than I prefer....
