So sad the owners haved decided to close Kay N Dave's after 30 plus years. Today is their last day. They are moving to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I learned the new owner will keep the same staff and will open a Mexican restaurant soon!I loved Kay N Dave's and the warmth and love from the owners Junita and Dave.
I went about 3 weeks ago. The service was great -- all the staff were very friendly. My friend had been before, and it was my first time.Unfortunately, the food wasn't great. My friend's salad, he chose it because he had their lime cilantro dressing before, but this time he didn't like it. I tried some, and the dressing tasted...stale and a bit too acidic. It wasn't good. My food (two enchiladas and a taco) was OK, not good -- my friend's chile relleno...
This is one of the best Mexican places you will ever eat at. The service is amazing, the food is so good and I love Kay n Dave’s! I highly recommend the designer burrito, and add what you like, the combo plates, and the baja fish burrito.
