Food was good! I’ve been 3 times now for the street corn and the amazing Caesar salad with Shrimp
A very solid local cantina that replaced long-time palisades staple, Kay-n-Dave’s. I went and ate there around the time it opened and I felt there were some issues with the service, but I have since been eating there almost once a week (primarily takeout) for over a year and find the food to be really good every time - particularly the fajita plate my wife and I share that’s packed with fresh veggies. I’ll often add a side shrimp or carve asada taco, a-la-carte for a reasonably priced mid-week pickup that’s plenty of food with some leftover even.
Food is terrible! Never again.
Their impossible burger tacos are so good! I also enjoyed their Heard it Through the Grapevine cocktail. The waiters are friendly.
Great food and drinks, much better quality for the price than most of the places in the area.

I ordered delivery but idk how this place doesn’t have better reviews - best salmon taco I ever had, best rice, really really great flour tortillas and homemade corn tortillas!!
had the beef fajitas and they were solid, came w chips and guacamole and it was solid too, pretty standard, their salsa wasn’t great but everything else was good or great and their prices are solid too.

You need a manager on duty. I just watched my server wipe the table and just brush all the rice and debris onto the floor ( rather than his hand ) and than sat me at the table. After I ordered my beer I asked him to please get a broom. He did but barley swept . It’s clear there is no management

I went here during the happy hour times. BEST DEAL IN TOWN! I got their salmon tacos and they were delicious. The flavor was spot on and honestly, the best taco I’ve had from the larger palisades area. The service was great, refilling water fast and fulfilling my every request. The food came out in a good amount of time. It can take longer, but just a bit, because they make it fresh. The atmosphere was tasteful and casual. You should even take your kids there. Overall a wondrous place. Definitely recommend!
Vegetarian options: Lots of good vegetarian foods available.
Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids menu and the atmosphere suits kids very well.

Worst albondigas soup I ever tasted I don’t even think they don’t know how to make it?
They just put (2) small dry chicken meatball no taste even the broth have no flavor it tasted like hot water the celery wasn’t cleaned the zucchini over cooked and order (3) taco combinations it was dry . To tell you this is not auntentic Mexican food. Price are overpriced.Never coming back ..
We really missed Kay and Dave.. Lived here for over 30 years hoping we would have good Mexican restaurant back to take Kay and Dave place. But this is not a god place to eat horrible.

We always enjoy dining at Prima Cantina. The food and Margarita’s are outstanding and the prices are very reasonable. The servers are excellent.

Took 40 minutes for a burrito
I was OK with that
Asked for more salsa
"MARIA" self-reported supervisor decided to count all her checks for the night instead of charging me for extra salsa or asking the other two employees to help me and when I called back did not apologize,

I really wanted to enjoy some margaritas and tacos but never got the chance. Two extremely rude staff totally turned me off. One slammed the door in my face almost catching my arm in the door jam. The other completely ignored my attempts to get her attention. How dare I interrupt their day with a question. Ended up at Porta Via, which has a great happy hour.
