Absolutely Disgusting – Avoid at All Costs!
I have been a burrito fanatic for 41 years, and I can confidently say that Betos Tacos in Pacoima served me the worst burrito I’ve ever had. I ordered a burrito de cabeza, and it was an absolute disaster—loaded with fat and barely edible. The rice? If you can even call it that—it neither looked nor tasted like rice.
But the real horror began when I witnessed their horrifying food-handling practices. I saw them placing the bottom of plastic meat bags directly onto the grill while opening them, essentially cooking plastic and chemicals into the meat. That is beyond unsanitary—it’s outright dangerous! On top of that, they were cooking in near darkness, which felt like they were deliberately hiding what they were serving.
This place is a health hazard and a disgrace to food service. Do yourself a favor and stay far away. You’ve been warned.

I was there when they were setting up their food.. they are nasty the guy wiped his hands on his butt his shirt had holes and his pants look dirty and greasy he then grabbed all the utensils and put them in a container. The agua fresca was wide open all you need is a fly to go in there or someone walkby and sneeze or cough and then the agua fresca is trash. One girl was touching her sweaty face as she was grabbing the bread they had. Not once did I see them wash there hands. I did not see one time that they were trying to be clean. The city should come by because it was a messy set up.
