Don Chon Menudo is a family favorite for good food without the Instagram hype. The tacos with consome and birria ramen are highly recommended. The menudo is excellent, with a well-made broth and fresh, homemade tortillas. While the limited parking and outdoor seating might be a downside, there is a nice little seating area on the sidewalk. The birria and consome are standout dishes, while the pozole may not be as impressive. Customers appreciate the good portions and simple atmosphere. Despite only having one bench outside, this small, unassuming spot is worth stopping by for a satisfying experience, especially for the menudo and tacos. Note that the restaurant is cash only but accepts Zelle and Venmo.
