food was good, a little too salty. but they overcharged me $5 on my dish (not including tax/tip) & when i pointed it out, they just gave me a $5 bill instead of calculating how much they should’ve given me back including tax/tip. so i didn’t actually get the amount owed back & i also wasn’t given an apology or explanation of why i got charged $5 more. there also was a band that started playing at the end of our meal, which was great but it was extremely loud because we were sat right in front, probably like 2 ft away from the stage. i shouldn’t have to wear ear protection while eating my food.

Lilly was super sweet. Service was amazing and the food was insane. Mixing the rice in the sauce with the green sauce was just crack. Beef was super tender. Love the purple corn drink(chicha morada) had a really nice sweetness with cinnamon hints.

Best pollo a la brasa and chaupas I've had in LA by far.

It was my first time at Pollo Peru and wow—I was blown away! The chicken is absolutely incredible. The flavor literally exploded in my mouth—so well seasoned, juicy, and tender it just falls right off the bone. We also got a papa with their yellow sauce and OMG… I don’t even have the words. That sauce is next-level! This place is a hidden gem—small, unassuming, but packed with bold, unforgettable flavor. Highly recommend to anyone who loves good food. I’m already planning my next visit!

It was my first time coming to El Pollo Peru. The food was delicious. We had 1/4 chicken white meat, the chicken was well seasoned and marinated. The papa ala Huancaina was delicious, and all their sauces are made in-house.
This is going to be my favorite Rotisserie Peruvian Chicken.

Their ceviche is really good.
The service needs an upgrade.
They charge you for extra plantains.

Food is amazing. It’s hard to find good authentic Peruvian food. Service depends on the day and server you get. Leily is so helpful and nice! She goes above and beyond!
