I’ve been going here since I was a young girl and my family and I are well acquainted with the staff. Everyone is polite and the food is absolutely phenomenal. For family dining we order their seafood soup with their fried rice. Do not be off put by the disposition of the staff, I believe they have solemn expressions because they are from a different culture. They aren’t rude just don’t fake their expressions 🤷🏽

Wendill’s chicken restaurant and Thai food came to my view via TikTok. I was excited to try food from the oldest restaurant in the valley, but I was underwhelmed the food lack of love and seasoning the chicken was juicy and crunchy, but lack seasoning the chow mein also lacked some sort of flavor and rice needed love to. The restaurants across the street from a small airport where you can see tiny jet planes. The restaurant needs a little bit of touchup and renovation. This restaurant has so much potential to be so good. We were not greeted with smiles only attitude. it looks like she did not want to service us🥺

This is one of my personal top 5 spots to eat when I'm in town been coming here since high school recommend the chicken pad thai for sure the shrimp egg rolls and your making a big mistake if you don't try their fried chicken with the thai tea!! 🔥🔥💪💪💪💪💪

Just ordered food today very mushy and tasted like if it was made Days ago not freshly made from today

Wendell’s has the best fried chicken I’ve ever had the crispyness is second to none in addition to the chicken let me tell you the Thai Tea also second to none the perfect amount of ingredients. The service is okay due to being short staffed. In all a great place to eat a delicious home cooked meal!

It's not for me. The sweet and sour did not bode well for me. Nothing wrong with preparation or quality just wasn't my cup of tea. It is a very well visited spot so they're doing something right for other people.

Perhaps worth your time to visit just not for me.

Wendill's old fashioned fried chicken!
Amazingly delicious!! The chicken is fried to perfection and the breading is absolutely delicious. The breading not only tastes amazing, but it is fried perfectly, not too crunchy, just right ??
The only downside was the side of fries it came with, it was literally 5 pieces of fry. (See pics)
I will be trying that chicken again! This time with a side of rice!!
