Almond Wood Reviews
Made a trip after a day in the bay! Amazing atmosphere, an extremely kind and attentive waitress, and great portions. Good beer list and variety of food for adults and children. They have quite a few different BBQ sauces and will bring you out samples so you can find the one you like best. Save room for their homemade gelato in waffle cones that they will make fresh just for you! Honestly, I don’t understand how this place isn’t 5 stars.

Almond Wood, located in Patterson CA off I-5, is a popular spot for travelers and locals alike. Known for its BBQ, the restaurant offers generously sized portions, especially the brisket and pulled pork. The food is fresh and tasty, with crispy chicken sandwiches and brisket grilled cheese being favorites. The restaurant features a clean, spacious environment with nice decor and both inside and outside seating options, making it suitable for large groups. The staff are friendly and attentive, providing quick service and helpful suggestions. The menu also includes fresh coleslaw, crispy battered onion rings, and delicious appetizers like green beans and spinach in garlic, as well as Jalapeño poppers. The artisan kitchen and craft beer selection make it stand out among nearby fast-food options. Though BBQ sauce servings could be more ample, the overall experience is highly enjoyable. Remember to fill up at the nearby gas stations, as the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
