Super nice spot to take someone. The food was cooked from someone who absolutely takes pride in their work and it felt like this place was a hidden gem when I stopped by. Definitely worth a try

This little place is the best thing that's happened on Pearblossom Hwy in... forever?
The chef/owner walked us to our car because we were parked in a very dark space. He also let us know that he was having new outdoor lighting put up.
The food is so flavorful you'll be tempted to over eat!

I had an amazing experience at Gourmet Tacos! The ambiance is cozy and vibrant, perfect for a nice brunch or dinner. The tacos are out of this world—especially the Korean bbq and Italian tacos, which are packed with flavor and freshness. What really impressed me was the friendly service; the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I can’t wait to go back!
Kid-friendliness: Our kids come with us and they are always happy to see the owners who give them apple juice boxes and turn the tv on to kid friendly shows which helps mom and dad eat in peace !

Where to begin... I first heard about this place from another teacher, and word of mouth spreads fast among educators in the AV. Now, I’m hooked—it’s a must-try. My wife and I started with the mushrooms as an appetizer, and from that moment, our taste buds were in for a treat. The real excitement came when we bit into the Korean Barbecue Taco and the Normandy Taco.
We will definitely be going back. Diners Drive-ins and dives should be visiting GOURME TACOS

It takes a bit for me to write a review but I felt inclined to do so in the case. I didn't have high expectations for this small restaurant, being on a busy highway, slightly hidden. The menu and staff (I assume owners) clearly French (inspired). I ordered the "French" and the "Buffalo" tacos... They offered for me to wait in my car or the restaurant as a convenience to me, which i appreciated. She brought the food straight to my car for me. Got back to the work place, Delicious... the buffalo was spicy but good (not too spicy for me but some might think so), potatoes were seasoned great.. the french was delicious too, swiss and I believe gruyere cheese with prosciutto and the tortillas were fresh and seasoned as well... If you live in the area, support your local business, if you don't stop anyway because it's delicious. I will definitely be back!

I am so glad we stopped by to try this little gem in the desert. The service was excellent, the owner served us herself and was very warm and friendly. The food was excellent, very unique choices for tacos. We had the Korean barbecue tacos with a side of potatoes and homemade berry tea and peach tea. She even gave us a complimentary appetizer. Overall, an excellent experience and we will definitely be back :). Very reasonably priced as well with the combo including a generously sized taco, a large portioned side dish and a drink.

GourmeTacos is a gem in the high desert! Our family drove from Lancaster to Pearblossom to try it out for lunch today. The meal was worth every mile of the drive! Between the three of us we had the Korean, the Shrimp (Oriental style), the Cheeseburger, and the Pastrami tacos. For dessert we shared the Banana Nutella and S'mores tacos. Everything was extremely pleasing to the palate (and the eyes).
Magali and Romain are wonderful hosts. Their focus was making sure we had a great experience at GourmeTacos, which we did. We can't wait to go back for breakfast! Lissette

This place is unique, an oasis in the desert. Both food and service are exceptional and fun. Can't go wrong with the tacos; breakfast served all day. Parking comes up quickly right off Hwy 138.
Kid-friendliness: Hostess makes you feel like you're at home in her kitchen. Chef also comes out to greet.

What an interesting culinary outing!
This charming little taco shop is full of the unexpected, from the wonderful French couple running it, to the international flavors of their tacos.
We had a Korean BBQ, Normandy, breakfast, and smors taco. Each one was delicious!
Service here is not fast, but that's because they make each dish after you order. No assembly line here.
Parking is a bit wonky. Park at the tiny lot at the building immediately to the west.

I read an article from the San Francisco Chronicles about a small restaurant in the "middle of nowhere" with some fantastic and out of the ordinary tacos. Well, I decided to drive 40 minutes to see if it was true. And it is. The tacos are worth every bit of gas. Meeting the French owners was a true pleasure. Everything is made to order. Nothing is frozen. Each plate is unique, just like a piece of art, made for you. I will continue to drive the 40 minutes to experience the rest of the menu and to support a worthy and unique Frencxican restaurant.

I started with the most refreshing hibiscus tea, and tried the Cheeseburger taco there. I brought my husband home the French and Pastrami Tacos...wow! Delicious sauces, seasoning, and slaw, unique flavor combos that you might never think to try, but they just click together. Quite simple really, yet a flavor explosion. I also ordered the diced potatoes... they may be a "side" but they are equally as impressive as the tacos... they are creamy on the inside, perfectly fried (but not greasy) and seasoned on the outside (suggest you skip the ketchup!) This is only 15 minutes from East Palmdale, easy on and off of the highway so don't go west to eat, this is actually so close. Comfy, adorable space to eat inside or out.
I also got a pain au chocolat but saving that for evening coffee. Such a lovely couple runs owns/operates the place! Eat local and support small business ?(PS the food travels very well to-go. My drive was 1.5 hours home and the tacos were still warm and perfect.)
