Gray Pine Vineyard & Winery

We had a fabulous day tasting wines at this little winery right in our own backyard. I can’t believe we haven’t come here before

What a great place! Such a cute setting, gorgeous vineyards to sip wine near, and the owner/winemaker Guy was a great... guy... to chat with! My husband and I happened upon Gray Pine Vineyards & Winery and were surprised at how fun it was to chat with Guy (he's quite the outdoor adventurer!) about his travels and about his experience making wine and owning the winery. The wine was absolutely delicious too!Will be back and bring friends! And perhaps a picnic. ;)

Great wine! Great price! Guy really knows what he is doing! He is also friendly and and a great conversationalist! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and we will definitely be back!

Visited Gray Pine Winery this weekend for a second time. We have visited most every winery in Grass Valley and hands down, Gray Pine is our favorite wine. Picked up a mixed case of their PennRidge, Malbec, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Thanks Guy! Good luck with the hip, we will see you again soon.

Wonderful winery experience - stop into Guy's tasteful but not extravagant tasting room and he (the winemaker) will take you on a journey tasting some of the area's best locally grown and produced wines. The Melbec is unlike any I've had (it's fantastic) and the PennRidge red blend is as close as you'll get to France in these parts. Well worth the trip!

Gray Pine is one of my favorite wineries in the region. The wines are consistent year after year and as one other reviewer noted, Guy is a fantastic guy to spend time with.

Great time tasting Gray Pine wines. Proprietor, Guy has crafted some very well rounded, impressive wines. Looking forward to bringing friends to the winery.

It's great to see a small young winery in Penn Valley doing so well. Several of Guy Lauterbach's wines have won awards in state competition. While the selection may be small, the quality and taste is excellent and Guy is a pleasure to visit with. His Cabernet Sauvignons are my favorite.

Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderful little winery ! Excellent wine, scenery and friendly atmosphere . Will definitely be back next month to try the Malbec and Merlot !
