This isn't the fastest place you're going to get a burger. They are always made to order so I usually expect about a 15 minute wait. But I have to say, it's possibly the best burger in the county! Their signature cheese skirt is a bit much for me, so I started just ordering no cheese. Personally I always have them add bacon (real bacon, not that microwave crap you get at fast food joints) and grilled jalapeños. They never skimp on any of the toppings (the base sauces are mayo and mustard so if you want to change that up just ask). I also usually add a side of fries or jojos. Again, they are made to order and are well seasoned and piping hot.The atmosphere is fairly sterile, but there are a few tables if you're on the road and want to eat in. It is sharing a building with a gas station, so I don't expect a ton of atmosphere. But it definitely makes up for it in their food. They also have hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, Krispy krunch fried chicken and tenders, and a breakfast menu. Prices are pretty reasonable for today and IMHO the quality they put out typically.

Burgers, onion rings, and fries were really good. My mom had a breakfast burrito, and she thought it was really good. Staff was friendly.

If I could give this a -5 stars I would. Sign on the door was never switched from "closed" Entered and saw just cook at the grill, he looked at us but never acknowledged us, never said someone will be with you, nothing. Waited about ten minutes when someone from the 7-11 side of the shared space, she didn't say anything to us just went and prepped some fried stuff and took it back to 7-11,on her way as she passed us she said be with you . Waited about 5 more minutes... she came back from 7-11 and went by the grill, came back and grabbed a rag and proceeded to wipe down tables.... We left...... unbelievable!!!!!

The burger was excellent, a little bit small but excellent for the price. Fries were good, and service was fast.

This is the first time I have eaten at this burger place. It's located right off highway 20 and Pleasant Valley road in Penn Valley. Attached to 76 gas station. We were starving after a very long drive! I ordered a regular plain burger and my friend ordered the teriyaki burger. Both burgers had a great taste to them and the buns are delicious. They were out of regular fries so we had to get jojos instead (similar to steak fries). There was only one other person in the establishment but still took over 25 MINUTES to get our to go order. I can't imagine how they do when they have more patrons! Staff was friendly. I didn't take pictures of the food because we were so hungry and needed nourishment before getting back on the road. I would have given them 5 stars but the wait was way too long for 2 burgers!

Food was pretty good but it takes FOREVER to get your food. Staff was polite but this is no fast food establishment. The door says they open at 6 am. I arrived at 8 am and the doors where still locked I had to go through the gas station to access it. None of the screens where on so I couldn't look at a menu. This place has potential but needs a new owner or a better management to make things work smoothly

Good breakfast burrito. Nothing fancy but large portions. Had to get coffee at the attached 7-11.

The Squeeze In is a great place for a unique burger experience. The original in Sacramento started a tradition of the cheese skirt. Unfortunately, most chains connected to a gas station come with compromises. The food was still good quality, but the atmosphere and service was lacking. Stop by if you have plenty of time to kill and want an interesting cheeseburger.

This is my problem with Squeeze In. You fry your burgers to a crisp. Tastes like leather. I know you can't serve them raw bu this is terrible. I won't patronize your business and pay an excessive price for burned burgers. By the way I tried more than once and spoke to the manager to no avail.. One positive comment is the produce is fresh and good. Sharon

The gas station staff so freaking bad here. After years of waiting watching complete chaos in front of me every time I go in there. It’s been enough just taking this place off my list. Just go to shell. A bunch of freaks that just say sorry we’re out. Never check. A worker there told me once everything is locked up and the person with the key just has to unlock products to sell them. These losers don’t take the effort and just say out of stock. Don’t go here all losers

27 minute wait and I was the only one there who had placed an order. Checked in and they were de thawing their frozen buns in the microwave in the main customer area. Finally got the burger and than was told they were working on my fries...... I said I didn't order any fries.... she said why did they charge you for fries? IDFK!? I left with put the fries or my mo ey back because my time is worth more. Get it together people.
