It's nice enough. The food was okay. But the service was really slow, and it wasn't too busy at the time. Also, they forgot to remodel the restroom

Horrible! I ordered shredded beef tacos and got carne asada tacos in a deep fried tortilla. My friend ordered soft tacos and got deep fried food. Beans and rice were perfect!!!

El nuevo Tarasco never disappoints. Been coming here for decades (i live a block away) for family events or just to grab a meal, either way this is on top three to go places in the city. In addition, I love the new upgrades that the restaurant has made and would highly recommend the sushi bar as well.

Outdoor seating upgraded from few years ago. Huge portion of guacamole. Salsa good. Cheese enchiladas were nice. Acceptable service.

We have been going to the old Tarasco for 30+ years food WAS great tasty. We tried to go today the music was so loud the waitress couldn't hear us. We were asked for our before we had menus, we had been the approximately 15 minutes. Salsa was flat tasting and the menu was all about Sushi. We will not be back. Perris lost the Mexican food restaurant ever.

Itoday we arrived at EL NUEVO TARASCOS around 545pm!! It took us 20 minutes to seevthe waitress!! We ordered 3 drinks!! And 5 rolls of sushi and a sebiche tostada !!it was over one hour after she aprobeche to the table and informed as that our order will came soon !! 24 minutes later one sushi roll arrived!! What We can't understand was that the owners were eating in front of our table!! And never aprobeche to ask at least if we were helped by someone or something like that!! Instead they were drunk and dancing!!.What a ugly ans unprofessional service!! While we still waiting for our dinner!! Our waitress was taking more tables and serving more alcohol drinks!! And our sushi rolls not caming!! Finally she got out ordered uncompleted!!We will never forget that!! And for our understanding that is not a family restaurant!! So sad to see kids in sucha bud place!! It look mother like bar with life mexican band!By the way!!sushi was extremely good!! But qe will never go back to a place wih no customer service skills!!our dinner was finally done by 725pm.it took as 18 minutes to eat our uncompleted order.

service and food was awful horrible will never ever return.. we sat for over 1 hr waiting for 3 rolls and one tostada ,while waiting we never once got asked if we needed refills on our drinks or chips and salsa while we waited. Once they started bring out our food it was one plate at a time waiting 10-15 mins before the next one came out. Had to remind the waiter we had ordered tostada and ended up canceling the last roll due to the long wait. Over all it was a horrible experience and I will. Not be returning

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE.We got seated and got a drinks about 20 minutes later. Other people arrived and got chips &salsa upon their arrival. We didn’t get any till 30 minutes later. We ordered our food and over an hour and a half only two people in our party received their food. Over the course of time that we’re waiting other people are arriving and have been receiving their food before us. If your understaffed don’t let a large number of parties be seated. Will never return, wish I could give this place zero stars.

I have been coming here for years. Usually service and food is great. Tonight was such a disappointment. We ordered roughly 15 minutes after we sat down(party of 4 adults and 2 kids) and was there for 2 hours. One guest ordered a tostada de Aguachiles menu said was $10.99, waitress brought the platter, when told that wasn't what we ordered she explained that it's cheaper if we just kept the platter(which cost$25.99) we told her no, we want the $10.99 tostada. She then told us the price is wrong on the menu the tostada is really $15.99. We kept the platter ? The waitress brought everyone's food at different times, with one guest never even getting his food. Everyone was done with their meal and ended up canceling. Michelada, was bad and enchiladas were bad! Again, I have been here before and food and beer were great, not sure what the issue was this time. The waitress then brings the check and includes an 18% gratitude $30. We said we didn't want to leave a $30 tip and says she wouldn't include it. She then takes our cards and guess what $30 tip included! We then ask her about it and she completely ignores us. We finally got tired of waiting and ended up leaving. On the plus side the place looks really nice now.

Used to come here all the time, it was one of our favorite places to eat! It’s been a little while since we’ve came because we moved. They are under new management and the place was remodeled and looks really good! Unfortunately the feed was not the same. Very bland and plane. Always got the chilie verde and it was not good at all! The salsa used to be very good too! So disappointed.

This used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant for about 8 years. I came here so many different times with so many different people and always loved it But ever since they closed down and reopenedUnder new ownership. The quality of food has really gone downhill. They did do some really nice renovations. Including adding another dining room on the other side of the patio But the service is horrible. Waited about 50 minutes for my food ( I could understand if they were making it fresh. But it came out cold ). The food had no taste not the rice not the beans The crazy burrito ? was my favorite burrito here but not anymore. Very let down. Also I sat with a empty cup for almost 40 minutes before it got refilled.Won’t be back unless the food gets better and the service. I appreciate all the improvements. But please start making good food again

Updates review: this place had actually improved quite a lot. I'd give it 3.5 out of 5 stars. Food was decent and very good value for the price. The shredded beef enchiladas were actually pretty good a little heavy on the cheese but besides very flavorful. Rice and beans were decent. My group also got the chilaquiles, carne asada place and the tarasco soup, and everyone was pleasantly surprised the food quality seems a lot better and no one had any complaints.

This place is amazing. The owner/sushi chef of this place is a great dude and has a great personality. Food is off the chain and is a favorite for most of my friends and family.

This restaurant is under New Management and has been totally redecorated. It's grand opening will be in approximately 3 weeks. The cuisine is sushi and Mexican.I ordered 2 Modelo's and a chicken fajita quesadilla which filled my plate and my tab came to about 26 bucks.
