Just the best place in town for a burger the way you want it. Great sides sweet potato tots oh my gosh!Parking: Some street parking and some parking lot parking. They shared their lot with goathead brewery. Which actually works out. Kind of nice because you can go have a beer and then deliver your food right to your table meow..

Two locations offer very different vibes. The Petaluma location is just blocks away from the famous downtown strip and the Petaluma Creamery in the other direction. There is also a local brewery right next to this old gas station turned burger and shake shack. It's a great pitstop on the way to or home from the coast. They make their own bread and butter pickles, have great malt shakes and locally sourced burgers. Go when it's lovely weather and enjoy the patio or the brewery next door. $$Parking: This place stays busy and has limited parking resulting in lots of people just grabbing a spot nearby on the street.Kid-friendliness: My toddlers love this spot.

***editing to add that the prices i was shown at the crooked goat location were higher than what is advertised i on the acme website***Wanted to like this place, however it was so expensive. (I ordered from crooked goat) the basic double burger price was about $14 with NOTHING ON IT (other than LTO), add $2 each for carmelized onions and cheddar. Honestly $18 is way too much for the burger that i was given, doesn’t even include fries,I love and support small business in Sonoma county, however, a $18 burger +7 basic fries is too much for locals.Burger also lacked SALT.Would love to try acme again one day if they lowered the prices and started using seasoning. I think this place is headed in the right direction, just could use some small improvements.

Burgers were delicious, the buns a little sweet, but the fries were some of the best I’ve ever had. The fountain drinks were also much better than what we’re used to, so they must really take care of their drink machine there

People were nice. My fries and onion rings were cold as if they didn’t even try. Ruined entire experience outside is unfriendly and cold. Won’t come back and wouldn’t recommend. Owner needs to step his/her game up to survive!

Acme Burger is a must stop for my son and I after this first visit. The burger and fries are great, and the shake was excellent! The serve yourself pickled freebies are such a treat too! An employee of Rancho Obi-Wan referred us and I'm glad she did!

Delicious and dependable burger spot in Petaluma that has some really tasty fries. I've eaten Acme Burger food nextdoor, at Crooked Goat, and at their location. Either option is lovely! I love good French fries and the variety of fry/dip options is so appreciated. It's not the best burger I've had in my life, but for the cost, it's a really really good burger. All the staff have been lovely too!

This is 'American' food that is done with a Nor. Cal. sensibility, fresh and local. I often get a generous baby mixed greens salad with cherry tomatoes and red onion. That is optionally topped with Pt. Ryes blue cheese and a buttermilk battered local chicken breast that is crispy and tender. The chilly is so good! The burgers come from free range beef on Sonoma Mountain. This place has the best fries in town.
