Where to begin....it truly pains me to write this & it's taken me some time but lets start with the good first. I've order take out from April Pantry since they first opened & to say that opening a restaurant in the height of a pandemic is challenging is an understatement. But April Pantry did just that & there have been ups & downs as I'm sure most places have had. Some of my orders were flawless, were delicious, came out exactly as I ordered them & on time, as in it will be ready in 20 minutes & it was. Then some have had a few hiccups along the way such as ordering & paying for something extra & being told it was in the salad box when it wasn't, ordering a burger to be cooked well done, driving back to work to eat it only to find out that after your first bite that it was cooked the complete opposite end of the spectrum as in rare & I couldn't eat it, or placing a phone order & being told it would be ready in 20 minutes & when you arrive 10 minutes later than the expected ready time (hard to get out of work on time sometimes) you find out they hadn't even started the order so I had to wait an additional 25 or so minutes on top of the already quoted time plus me being late so now we're at 55 minutes which gets me 5 minutes to drive back to work & not having the time to eat. Why it took so long to make a salad is beyond me. I will give them kudos that for the most part every salad I have had has been unique, healthy & delicious as well as the croque monsieur, which was to die for, & a few other meals! Then there was the Thanksgiving dinner. I thought this would be great to have someone else cook what sounded like a delicious meal & pick it up on Thanksgiving day, as well as support a local business. I ordered & purchased on their website a full turkey meal & a half order of the vegetarian meal almost 2 months before Thanksgiving for $226.88. No communication from the restaurant was ever made prior to the pick update, except what was initiated by myself. I went to the business at the specified time on Thanksgiving afternoon only to find a huge line & lots of people waiting around. Upon "check-in" I'm told that it would be another hour & I literally had to give this person every bit of information regarding my order as she had no information. I left & came back an hour later to an even bigger crowd of people. I worked my way to the entrance & now I'm being told that they have no idea when or if I would get what I ordered. To say the entire kitchen & staff was a cluster is an understatement, and I don't think the people working were actual employees but friends who were trying to help out as they had mentioned that some of their staff didn't show up. Most everyone was asking for a refund, which we were told we'd get but there was no way to tell since no one was asking for information, etc. Someone kept telling me they'd get my food, which I said I wanted a refund. Then someone handed me a bag with some food & said to contact them for a refund. I kid you not, I didn't get even 1/4 of my meal, I got a spatchcock turkey, a container of sour cream (why, I don't know because nothing needed sour cream) & one of whipping cream & one of cranberries, 1/2 order of gravy & mashed potatoes that's it. And when we cut into the turkey it was pink, we had to cook it, not reheat but actually cook it. It took about 2-1/2 weeks for the refund but only after I emailed to send it. The owner offered a Christmas makeup dinner, which I declined. And from what I have read & seen, people said this same fiasco happened the prior year were some people got their meals & some didn't. I think the thing that bothered me the most was that the owner could've sent out a mass email to all the customers that ordered Thanksgiving dinner from her early on so everyone, myself included, could've made some other arrangements but she chose not to do th

Just enjoyed our Christmas makeup meal from Thanksgiving. Aimee outdid herself. Was the best filet Ive ever had and more food than we could possibly eat. Her detail in even the garnishments was above and beyond. I sincerely hope April Pantry survives and I know I will be a loyal and returning customer. I wanted to take a moment to commend this business for quality and continuity in a tough market. I have eaten very often from them and couldn’t be more happy with their service, quality of food and tastiness! If you haven’t been, look forward to doing so I promise you won’t regret it!

We ordered our Thanksgiving menu back in September and were so disappointed yesterday when my husband had to stand in line for two hours just to receive the food, and when we got it home there was a hastily written message on the bag reading, "No stuffing - will reimburse." The online menu made the whole thing sound much nicer than it ended up being, although I will say the turkey was moist and the mashed potatoes were great, which is why I gave the stars I did. I'm reading others' reviews that say they didn't receive anything, so I suppose our experience was a little better than that. Don't offer an online menu that you aren't going to be able to deliver on, and be realistic about what you can actually offer, and when. My husband heard someone mention that there were pick-up time slots sent out, but all we received was a notice to pick up between 2-6 pm. I definitely won't order from them again and wouldn't recommend others to do so, as you just can't trust them to have the food ready to go.

Never delivered a paid in full $170+ Thanksgiving meal, I ordered Thanksgiving dinner and didn't deliver! At 6:00 they called me and told me that they wouldn't be delivering my thanksgiving mea! What type of business takes orders for thanksgiving meal and doesn't deliver, very disappointed! I would never order from them again, nor recommend.

Ordered our Thanksgiving dinner from them and it never came. We pre ordered over 2 months ago and they took our money but now it's game time and nothing. No calls or emails to let us know anything and they turned thier phone off so we can't even find out what's going on. It was supposed to be delivered between 2 and 5 today and now it's 630 with nobody reaching out. I will never use them again. Also on a side note 2 friends of mine decided not to wait for delivery and waited for over 3 hours in line to get thier order. This place is unorganized and obviously don't know how to run a business.

Food was good, but the way they handled there operation was a little wack. As usual during lunch time you know they'll be busy, so you call in for pick up 20-30 minutes later you head over to pick up and your food is still not done. This is totally understandable if there's a shortage of staff, but when you go in to order and wait for your food just like everyone else and find out the people behind you get there food first, 1 hour wait! So I head over to there table and asked politely, "hey did you guys call in before paying for your food?" And the answer was NO! We, ordered right after you same thing Billionaire Bacon sandwich. At this point I start to observe, I notice another family sitting there and they had arrived way before we did, I told them go check and see if your food is ready or maybe you didn't hear them call your name, that was sad. I also noticed those folks who did call in still didn't pay yet so if you had ordered ahead you would be asked to hold on while this person cuts in front of you to pay. This place is great but your in a business area, people are usually pressed for time, so they can go back to work. I think managing orders to be paid ahead of time for pick is the ideal thing to do. Most purchase paid for on line, or over the phone should be in advance and only taken if you have the staff to handle them. Transactions would seem to be smoother and there won't be a hold up at the register or possible two sections, one for pick up and one for your folks who want to dine in with you. A courtesy of how busy and backed up you are would be nice before taking a customers order, that way they could go somewhere else for lunch if they are pressed for time. This is just feed back and I hope it gets addressed this is not the first time, I've had friends tell me the exact same thing reason why they won't go back during lunch.

This is a catering review for Amiee and her drop-off catering services. We sought a caterer in September and most restaurants were swamped with weddings. Someone referred me to Aimee, and thank goodness for that! She put together a wonderful menu for a milestone birthday among family for about 22 people. Aimee was very communicative, worked so hard to make everything perfect, and the food was beautiful and delicious. So grateful to have had her cater our special occasion.

Great food and nice sunlit patio. Had the grilled chicken teriyaki Aloha plate with two rice (coconut rice) and mac salad. Ono!

One of my favorite Petaluma eateries. The burgers are made to perfection. The chicken nicely fried and no grease, yummy mac salad, and the quinoa salad with feta is delish!! Just meh on the Mac n cheese but it isn't a deterrent from me coming back time and again.*get the Bang Bang cookie!!!

I ordered online from them a couple weeks ago, the food was a little late and the owner was really sweet about it, stuff happens, it was no problem. But I tell you what, that fried chicken sandwich was worth waiting for. Very good. Also their pricing is solid. Worth checking out!

Outstanding food! Have gone a few times now and recently was able to try their brunch and had one of the best Eggs Benedict I have ever had! It was absolutely fantastic. On other trips have had their Hawaiian plate as well which was delicious. I love how diverse the menu is and the variety of options they have. The food quality is excellent and you can tell everything is being made with fresh ingredients. Also love that they have breakfast items that are served all day as well. Wonderful spot and a great addition to Petaluma.

April Pantry is a routine for us either Saturdays or Sundays for brunch. The chicken and waffles are the best ever! The service is full of great people who go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The outside seating is welcome to dogs and very comfy. I highly recommend! All menus available all day which is awesome!

Delightful! The food is delicious and the people are kind and thoughtful. Outdoor patio is lovely and seating is comfortable, even for fat bottomed girls like me. I've gotten their sandwiches via delivery for lunch when I'm working, and those have been wonderful as well. They're tops!
