I ordered the Pato A La Nortena. It was duck on top of rice with seafood sauce. The rice was unbelievably SALTY! Hardly touched it. I drank all my water and nobody was coming to refill it. Had to call for water refill and had to call for the bill. There’s only 1 other table inside and 2 another tables outside that were occupied. In fairness, my husband’s salmon was good. We shared his salmon.
EDIT: At home, after adding rice to offset saltiness, I realized it’s NOT DUCK BUT CHICKEN!!!!!! Dishonest restaurant!

Tasty Peruvian food in Petaluma!

Lomo salteado is a must, pollo empanadas are perfect and the chicha morada is good.

Amazing food and drinks. There are so many cocktails to choose from that you don't get anywhere else. The food is always cooked to perfection, the pork and steak options melt in your mouth.

Coming from a Peruvian who knows how drinks taste, this place needs help. Their pisco sour sucked. Pisco punch was not great. I went there because I really wanted a taste of home, was quite disappointed.

Arrived on a Friday night and was seated immediately. The decor and atmosphere was great, but unfortunately the food left much to be desired. We ordered a variety of dishes: from chicken empanadas, the lomo saltado, the tallanes verdidas, yucca fries, the corn cake and octopus. The chicken empanadas and the tallanes were the stars, the yucca is good, but the octopus, lomo saltado, and corn cake were way too salty. The corn cake, which we learned was reheated/premade, we ultimately had to return.

I do appreciate the gesture to remake some of the dishes to be less salty, which they did with the lomo saltado, which improved the dish significantly.

The drinks are probably why people come here - we got the non-fashioned and the pisco punch. Good & what you would expect from either.

Finally, service was not really that attentive until we complained about the food. Wish they were otherwise more readily available (took us tracking down the waiter for several minutes before we were served.)

If that is how Peruvian food taste like, I pass. Ordered the Mariscos with rice, asked if it was like a Paella. They gave me Mexican rice with a couple shrimp and octopus and it was microwaved part was hot the other was cold. Will never go to this place again way overpriced for reheated food

Unique and totally delicious. The portions are generous and the cocktails are fantastic as well. Good for date nights or the whole family.

We arrived and were greeted by a nice hostess, that’s the only good service we got from this restaurant. We ordered the fried wonton with crab, which was decent but nothing special. Had to wait a full 25 mins after we finished our app to be approached by our waiter. We asked about which ceviche he suggested, he stood there looking around like he was bothered and said “ya that one is good”. He then proceeded to snatch the menus off the table and rush away. I think we were too shocked to say anything, we had planned to order entrees and another drink. The ceviche was delivered by a nicer guy and he asked us if we needed anything. Our server didn’t bother coming back at all until we had to flag him down a whole 30mins later. By then we had no interest in spending anymore money there. It’s a bummer we won’t go back cause this was our first time there and really wanted to find a new restaurant. This was a Thursday btw.
