This is our favorite restaurant to celebrate special occasions in Petaluma. The food is full of flavors and the meats are cooked perfectly. All the specials are unforgettable and leaving you wanting more. You can tell the chefs put their heart and soul into making every dish.

I am so disappointed we let ourselves get scammed by this place. The waiter kept pressing us to add truffle to our meal. The food was great, but the service was irresponsible. They forgot one of our main dishes and they never told us the truffle was going to cost 200% more than the actual meal itself.
I am very upset that they added a $90 up charge to a $40 meal without letting us know. It was just irresponsible. I was a first time customer who will never be back. It was really disappointing because the chef was lovely and the food was amazing.
While it may have been the real value for the truffle, I think it’s just grossly irresponsible to not let a customer know that it will cost 200% more than their meal.

The absolute best French food on this side of the Atlantic! Chef Nick is incredible. He is passionate about his food (his art is honestly the better term) as well as the experience for his guests. I wish I could give Brigitte Bistro more than 5 stars, because they deserve it. The wine was top notch, the food was superlative, the experience was incredible. If you are in Sonoma, go to Brigitte Bistro. If you are anywhere near the area, make the drive, it’s worth it! Between my wife and I, we had the ratatouille, the escargot, the beef bourguignon, and the duck l’orange. For desert we had the crème brûlée. All of it was world class. We will definitely be going back. This is a hidden gem of the Napa/Sonoma area and definitely worth a visit…or several!
Brigitte Bistro is a delightful restaurant. Wife and I went with friends and had a very pleasant dinner. My wife and I split an order of the French onion soup. This is my first time to try French onion soup and it was delicious. Very flavorful with thick gooey cheese and slices of robust French bread. I had the pork tenderloin and it did not disappoint. So tender I could cut it with a fork. Waiter had suggested a side of bread to sip up the sauce which was very generously applied. That was the right answer. Wife had the scallops and said they were perfectly cooked. When we came in I noticed what looked like an apple tart on the counter between kitchen and dining room. It was beautiful.When I asked the waiter about it he said it was indeed a gravenstien apple tart that the chef had made. It would be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. So i asked for that for dessert. It was delicious. All in all a nearly perfect evening out. My sole complaint is that it seemed a touch on the loud side in the dining area which made conversation challenging. But that was a minor issue.

My parents were celebrating their 45th wedding anniversary and Nick worked with me to surprise them by covering their anniversary dinner since I could not be there to celebrate. Brigitte Bistro’s service was impeccable and they enjoyed their evening immensely and brought them tears of joy (and that was just for the famous tiramisu! 😉) Thank you for taking such good care of them for their anniversary- you truly went above and beyond!

Chef Ronan and his team make you feel like you’re having dinner in his home, with hugs and lots of smiles when you come in the door. This is authentic French food and it's amazing. The owners are warm and welcoming. They explain the food to you and serve you. We had the muscles which were a special and were fresh and delicious. The black cod was perfectly cooked and the French onion soup tasted the way it does in a French bistro. If you want an authentic taste of France try this place. You won't regret it
