So many great memories and experiences as a guest, past employee during college, and then guest again. A fine Petaluma and Sonoma County institution. When this location is eventually demolished in 2025 for a Chick-Fil-A (which has dodgy business ethics), I genuinely hope Cattlemen’s will open another location across 101 at the old Sonoma Joe’s. The RP location (not people) just feels very “Rohnert Parky”. Best of luck to the Petaluma staff!

Love an old western steakhouse feel and Cattleman’s doesn’t disappoint. The bottomless salad is awesome, the Ribeye was fantastic and the loaded baked potato was delicious! The service was great and friendly and don’t forget to try the cheesecake (huge slice)!

If someone from out of the country asked me where to go for American food experience, I would without a doubt bring them here! The decor is cute or manly depending who you describe it to. I went with my boyfriend for the Happy Hour and had the Lamb Lollipop (HIGHLIGHT), tacos (feta was interesting but add the jalaps and you’re good), stuffed potato (delicious), ribs (amazing), and the bread was perfectly sour, if I brought a purse I would take some home! Our server was attentive, got our order in quick and was very nice. Can’t wait to come back!
Food was cold. Order Prime rib rare but was given my husband's Prime ride which was cooked the same. Did the meal for 2, which was plenty but extremely disappointed in the food. Potato was cold as well. For as much $$$ as we spent, I expected exceptional food.

Large party offered 3 different entrees. Salmon very dry. Steak so raw couldn't slice with the lousy knives. Salad the usual, ho hum. Offered some pasta dish (didn't eat) cookies for dessert..cookies? 50.00 per person..ridiculous!

Megan was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that our glasses were always filled and checking in regularly to see if we needed anything else. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided excellent recommendations that suited our tastes perfectly.
What stood out the most was her warm and friendly demeanor. She made us feel like valued guests and added a personal touch to our dining experience. Her positive attitude and genuine smile were contagious, making our meal even more enjoyable.
